The new X3 interior is a huge letdown. I saw it in person and it looks like an economy car level of materials like a run of the mill Kia or a Hyundai. And the roof that doesn’t open is stupid. So much cost cutting for such a price point.

I have 2022 X3 and 2021 X5. New interior materials on 2025 X3 on doors is bad, but for me as a daily I chose X3. The B58 and ZF8 in the Lighter X3 make it feel much more nimble, and the additional luxury of the X5 is not enough for what I’m looking for in my daily.

The X5 is better, since it's the 5-series level trim, they don't skimp or cut as many costs. You get a power steering column, options for real leather surfaces, seat massaging, cup heater/cooler, etc. I'd definitely rather have the X5.

I think the X5 is the perfect blend between luxury and sport when it comes to BMW SAVs, the X3 M50 seems like a ton of fun and it still has a nice interior but as expected it won’t be the same level of luxury as the X5, the X7 is the most luxurious BMW SAV but the X5 isn’t far off and the X7 won’t be as sporty

I just got my X5 xdrive40i full sport, I love it. I was approaching to get X3 2024, I checked out X3 2025, and I gotta say 2025 X3 is too ugly from exterior and interior. X5 2025 is love..😊

Interesting video though I feel it might have better comparing the new and old X3’s in either Xline or M sport derivatives to determine if one should upgrade or look elsewhere. I expect the newer model to continue BMW’s tradition of great build quality but I have read concerns over quality of materials, ambient lighting and interior rear space issues. So I look forward to that video, if possible.

Just on price/MSRP alone I'd go with the X5 in standard trim with some options including their optional and far more positional seats! As the speced from BMW own website, mined speced out @ $76K large! Yeah, no way would I care to get the X3 since it looks more dressed down as apposed to the X5.

The X3 is really cheapy inside. Way too plasticky. It’s not much different interiorly to a Rav 4. Very disappointing from BMW. I would not buy it. Cheap looking interiorly and exteriorly.

After I saw what happened to the interior and headlights of the G45, I did not wait for the new X3M and took the F97LCI. Also, I don't understand why the G45 M50i is 40% more expensive than the F97 LCI. P.S. The design of the new iDrive sucks. The design decision alone, with the duplication of the film/song cover on the cockpit by design, makes it incredible.

I don’t hate the exterior of the X3, I think the exhaust setup looks nice. But the G01 felt much more premium from owning one. That X5 in the video was poorly optioned, but with options an X5 is absolutely no match for anything else in the below segments. Seriously premium materials.

Even for LCI 2024+ X5 BMW managed to ruin the interior in comparison with pre-LCI G05. I like the iDrive 7 interior of pre-LCI G05 much more then this touch screen nonsense iDrive 8.5/9.

Why don't people post real life comments like how much BMWs depreciate, how you are basically held hostage by the dealer for maintenance and repairs, and how BMW spearheads preventing diyers from service manuals and parts. I have plenty of money to pay someone else to do it for me, but I like doing it myself and I do my research and this way they can't sell me things I don't need .

I like the front of the x3 more but the rear of the x5 better. The rear of the x3 looks a little hot hatch-ish. Overall they are similar in size and share the same drivetrain. This tells me the next x5 will grow and differentiate itself further from the current x3.

Contrary to popular opinion, I dont mind the new X3. In dark colors like black I think it hides a lot of the awkward lines pretty well. The interior doesnt offend me either, though I do prefer having physical buttons and knobs like the last gen had. I dont think the new one deserves all the hate it's getting tbh

@@aliciaweaver6496 if you’re considering the new x3 m50, just get the X5. The price delta is only a few grand. Much more car for the money, available massage seats too. Still will do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds with the X5 40i xdrive’s B58. But you can still get a nicely equipped X3 30i brand new for $55k or less. Have to get a couple year old used X5 to be at that price.

I have problem with X3 seats!! The front seats are ok, not so comfortable but still ok. However the rear seat is stiff!! And the back of the front seat with nest is like WTF, I don’t expect in a luxury car!! These are my biggest biggest letdown causing me lean towards X5. If I don’t even sit comfortably, forget everything else

They should . Only then they can’t do this milking game with their best selling model . They thought let’s remove all aluminum buttons handles and replace them with plastic same . Remove all leatherette and replace with plastic. Remove ambient lights from rear and door pockets and tell it’s sustainable. Had an M235i, 330i and currently have an Audi Q3. It kills me to say this but I vastly prefer the 2024 Cadillac XT4 refresh, the interior on that car is incredible!

That X3 looks like it was beaten mercilessly with an ugly stick. It looks cheap. The interior is barely better. HIDEOUS. The X5 is not much better. The piano black on the interior is dreadful and the touch screens for most everything are awful. Hard to believe both are more than 20 grand more than my 2025 Mazda CX-70 Turbo S Premium. To top it off, there's no way these BMWs will be as reliable as my Mazda and the cost for maintenance you pay for at a BMW dealer is horrifying. Mazda is cheap on maintenance. No thank you.
