Nice layout. Not over the top. Elegant. Very small pool. Three things I like-primary bathroom, split ACs, and upper guest suite. Not a fan of “pebble” shower floor or textured shower tile. Is there an opportunity to purchase the lots adjacent and facing backyard? Assuming septic? City water and sewer?

Awesome video love the home. Was looking for something like that in Hawaii. The question is can I put solar on the roof? Also, does the land go past the pool down below.? And one other thing if it doesn’t, you stated that the land below was empty the lot was so does that come with the home or do or can I get it plus the home?

The empty lot is owned by someone else so you'd have to buy it from them. You can definitely add solar on this house. . The land goes way down to that fence below the pool. It's a big lot. Shocked it has not been bought yet.

Mike, given the expense & "reliability of HECO, could you describe the primary facings of the rooflines for those roofs lacking PV panels; also if there ground mount possibilities & annual rainfall since water scarcity is another concern.

With an acre you definitely have the space to ground mount your PV. We really don't have much problem with water here in Kona occasionally a well will go down. Personally I would not add PV on a roof like this.

Beautiful home! I wasn’t expecting the upstairs- it’s been a while since you toured a house with one! The one thing that upstairs needs is a drink fridge and or coffee bar- it’s a long walk to the kitchen. Loving the kitchen! I am not that great of a cook, but I would see about some cooking lessons! Totally agree with you regarding the dining table. The one “problem” I see is that they continued the countertops in bathroom over the toilet tank. The plumber is going to love that if something needs to be replaced!

My 2 cents re the style outside - not Tuscan, but Frank Lloyd Wright, just IMO. But you're right - understated luxury in everything in this lovely home. Small suggestion for improvement - move the shower controls out to the side, to avoid that first cold spray.

This is a Fee Simple property. If I ever do showcase a leasehold I'll definitely let everyone know in a big way. The lot below may also get a house but the height restriction will protect the view. That's one of the benefits to being in a subdivision with an HOA.

Really enjoyed watching this video. It is such a great house, and you did a wonderful job presenting it. I have only been watching your channel a few months or so, however I have watched many of your older videos, and have seen so much improvement in the way you handle the camera. (In older ones I'd get dizzy, but not anymore) I also truly enjoy your commentary, for example, the way you describe colors that may not show true on camera. My husband thinks you exaggerate the tile dimensions, but he's not the one in person. We also enjoy when you have your wife with you. You make a beautiful couple.
