Dude you should make an offer for it I'm serious will never find a house from that time in that kind of shape!

This house has to win the award for cleanest tubs and toilets you've ever seen in all of the explores you've ever done! 🙃I think 'time capsule' fits this place too, it's just a different variety (and probably the most rare--how many homes are never lived in?!). I like that it had no gray whatsoever, the wood on the staircase railing, and the carpeting on the floor makes the rooms look spacious. I'm surprised they never ended up selling it (as you said, it likely only appreciated in value) and if things like the dishwasher don't get used the rubbery parts in them can actually dry out meaning they'd have to be replaced without ever having been used, which would be such a waste! Thanks for the explore Ethan and have a great night! 🙂

Doug Ford needs to get his a$$ in gear and tax the heck out of foreign buyers. Force them monetarily to either occupy it or sell it. There's too many homeless and rents are horrendous across Canada for houses to remain empty. Disgusting that a turnkey house is left to rot.

I feel exactly what you’re feeling as you walk through this home the hollow loneliness of the doors open and closing on the closets in the bathrooms. It’s so emptiness inside feeling but the house has no memories at all. It’s just a weird feeling. It’s hard to explain, but I understand exactly what you’re saying and this is a phenomenal phenomenal video Ethan❤

What kind of money does someone have to have, to be able to own property like that, without living in it, or selling it. Maybe it’s cause I’ve been poor my whole life, but if I wasn’t living there, I’d need to sell it, in order to have money to live wherever I am… if that makes sense. Anyway, cool video. Very interesting 👍🏻

Ethan I want to let you know how much I appreciate you sharing this, but in this particular home, this is one of the most saddest homes I’ve ever seen you videotaped 😮😢 it’s because it’s never been lived in. A home, such as this and the value of the property, the home itself It’s truly a shame that nobody has ever lived in this home. It really makes me think on how fickle and frivolous people can be when there’s others that are truly homeless and that are trying to do their best to find a home but like you said before it is what it is, you have to accept it for what it is you take care thank you for sharing and be safe out there🫶🏻❤️🤠

That is such a beautiful house. I'm not quite sure if I'm comfortable with the washer & dryer being in the basement. Kinda creepy to me but overall, beautiful
@terriblue68Ай бұрын
Lol washers and dryers have always been in the basement of houses for as long as I can remember. Mainfloor laundry really became "a thing" in the mid-1980s. More homes were being built with mainfloor laundry/mud rooms with a door to the garage or separate entrance at the side of the house. Just some history more or less. 😂

To me, it's kind of annoying that this lovely house sits unused when I'm sure there are plenty of people who would love to be able to live in it! It seems like it would be considered an "affordable" home, even at that price point in Canada. Seems rather selfish to me! 😠🇺🇸
@robk5427Ай бұрын
How is it selfish? It's their property to do what they please with. Do you expect them to give it away?
@SmilingLlama-qt4kqАй бұрын
@robk5427 I realize it's their property. It just seems to me to be a waste for them to let that house sit there not being lived in. Just my opinion.
