Don’t listen to the bad comments, invest, if you wish. El Salvador is ripe, paradise in 21,000k2, everything in a tiny place, with the most humble and generous people on earth, colonial towns, different kind of beaches, naturally beautiful like Costa Rica, but still raw, and not expensive, Costa Rica is for the Kardashians, almost trained and developed so, El Salvador is as naturally gifted but you can make of it what you want. But I go back to the people, they will feed you, house you, help you, without regard. Before the civil war the country was nicknamed “el país de la sonrisa”, and the native name is Cuzcatlán, which means “land of precious things”.

@@WanderingWildscapes It could go either way. The prices are surprisingly high for a developing nation, so investors seem to have priced in an optimistic future.

@@kem-zq8si I think it has a lot of potential to strengthen the middle class if it continues to be widely adopted as a store of value. In addition I think it will attract foreign money and talent to the country.

My country is becoming gentrified. It makes me sad and angry.
@SavageViking2 ай бұрын
@@jamesmir89I can see your point. My hope is that all the developments in El Salvador will create great opportunities for the locals.
@jamesmir892 ай бұрын
@@SavageViking the problem is that the locals are already being priced out. The daily wage is very low and a quick example of how expensive it is for us is that gas is above $4/gal. Life is MUCH better, Bukele is a God send, but the gentrification that’s happening is Mexico is happening here and I don’t like it. A lot of us won’t take too kindly to foreigners coming and pricing is out of our own land because we weren’t born lucky enough to be born elsewhere.
@1mmafrka2 ай бұрын
Agree, is happening all over Latin America, foreigners moving in, displacing locals or like this guys scavenging for cheap properties to enrich themselves.
@SavageViking2 ай бұрын
@@jamesmir89 I agree, It's unbelievable how quickly real estate prices have risen in the last few years. I think foreigners who buy land in El Salvador should actually live there and contribute to the economy, hire locals etc. A rising tide should lift all boats. God bless.
