I have not visited Vietnam since I was 5. I would luv to visit my humble roots. As kid I already new to be grateful. We lived in Thailand in the refugee camp and each family had a small ration food. When you run out you’ll be starving is what I remember.We were lucky to have been sponsored by a relative to come to the US

Thank you for sharing this great video. The owner/Manager shoulda let you stay there for a whole month free of charge, room and board. KZbin suggested me the video and I was curious when seeing the title so :) I’m here. It’s look like a nice hotel and a good experience; however, to be honest, this hasn’t been considered the “luxury” level in VN. True that it may be considered as luxury to many Vietnamese with low-medium income; but for many medium to high income people in VN and the people in the service or hospitality industry, this can only be considered as a good hotel. For rich people in VN, they may pick up a very high-end hotel. When they mention to luxury hotels in Hanoi, maybe they will start with Melia, Mövenpick, Sofitel Metropole or Park Hyatt. The room design may not be extraordinary compared to this hotel but more added services will be offered.
