screwtops are the best! keeps wine fresher for longer. Using corks are stone age, like wiping your bum with a stick. Messy and unreliable. For the amount of money rich people are paying for a cork bottle, wine companies should be providing Rolex Screwdown-crown technology complete with rubber gasket to their bottles .Dust, moisture and oxygen proof!

Doesn't work like that. Or one could put a table in comment with the prices and under which conditions these prices have been reached. But once again there's no such thing as a price for a bottle of wine. Price depends on the vintage. La Romanee Conti 2000 won't cost the same price than 2013...

It is almost impossible to whittle HIGH PRICED wines down to 3.... as there are literally dozens of wines that can easily qualify and it is heavily dependent on vintage and provenance.
