I really don't see the point of building such a huge mansion in the middle of nowhere. There really isn't much to recommend this location. It isn't convenient to anything, there is no spectacular views and it way expensive. You could buy several beautiful mansions in much better locations for this price.

True, but people with this kind of money can afford multiple homes. This one happens to be private, secluded and surrounded by nature. And in the matter of convenience, it's not like the have to do their own grocery shopping.
