Luz Noceda and Amity Blight: A Relationship of Success

I myself thought I was gonna hate Amity for how she was in the beginning of the show, but thx to Luz she found a new side of herself that was hidden away from her true self. I just love the way she is after the events of her hairstyle change as imo purple suits her better than green. While green is my favorite color, I'm gonna be honesty, purple suits Amity better as a whole. Still, I do love how she abs Luz are in the show and makes me feel glad this show became a reality as I've only liked one other girl duo from a now canceled tv show and the way lumity is brings out how much I wish more shows were like. While it is a shame the show is a week away from ending, I just hope however TOH ends Luz and Amity can continue their relationship as a whole!

11:41 I think that's not them realizing how repetitive it is rather them realizing that in spite of them being now official the "butterflies" feeling is still there. 12:00 ...amity wasn't trying to find anything to cure her, she was trying to find titan blood to help her get home. 12:09 I'm pretty sure the change in amity's reaction to luz is due to how she's learned relationships work in her family. Like hunter but less extreme, she believes that her role needs to be earned. And like how she try-harded at being a good witch, she was now try-harding at being a good girlfriend. This also explains why she initially reads luz's message as negative, as if it's a "do this or else" thing. Because that's the environment she's grown up in. 18:30 I don't think it was more "she didn't know what to do if they went on without luz" but more of a "Hey, my partner is sacrificing themselves rn, let me stop that". I don't know if that's the best way to phrase it either, but I still don't agree with the initial analysis. All in all, I feel like your analysis of certain parts of the story seem strange. Like the more important parts of things aren't mentioned, or emphasized properly while more random details get emphasized. For example pointing out that "Luz always goes for the chaotic route" without acknowledging how she was acting weird that day, and that response was a cover up in reaching out. And the more I think about it, maybe cause you go over the stories from the perspective of Amity in the way things are framed? Or maybe it's just that things feel a bit all over the place. Like the things you point out or talk about aren't really connected towards a central point? I've gotten to the end of the video, and I hope my comment doesn't discourage you. You can definitely grow as a writer and youtuber. Heck everything I say you may not be entirely right either. These are just the things I saw as I watched. Keep it up.

U may already know this but an interesting side note is that Bob Chapek stepped down not long after U uploaded this. The more-respected Bob Iger returned as CEO of Disney; also, Disney execs have since lamented cutting Owl House short after seeing the NY Comic-Con TOH event and the KZbin view count for its S3 specials.

Idk if you know this but just didn't mention this, Disney cut the owl house short hence why season 3 is very limited Dana and the crew got the news during season 2's development so they have to wrap up the story with the time they have left And the lumity kiss with the smooth animation on 'clouds on the horizon' might be a big f*** disney from the crew Edit: maybe you already know this, As for why disney cut TOH short their reason is that it "Doesn't fit the disney brand" this could mean some things, 1) they cut it cause of the lgbtq stuff, 2) they cut cause it was too serialized, story driven, far more aimed to older kids/audience, 3) budget cut due to covid at the time, it's either of these or maybe all of them

I'm honestly surprised why Dana decided to pitch "The Owl House" to Disney of all places, she probably might have had better luck displaying LGBT content with DreamWorks or she could have created her own independent KZbin videos.

She actually explained this on twitter, According to Dana she pitched the show to a few different studios and Disney was the only one that was excited about the show and was open to allowing her creative freedom. She even said that their was no way the showw ould of been what it was if she did it independent as she had little experience with a show like this and that some Disney higher ups even acted as mentors to her and helped teach her about showrunning. Don't get me wrong, their were definitely a lot of well deserved digs at Disney in Owl house but if it wasn't for them we would not have the show in the first place and im glad that Dana isn't using her platform to rile her fans up and providing both criticism and appreciation for Disney. Last part is just my two cents.

Nice video.. I couldnt disagree with you more @ 17:17 about the Animation beign better in S2... Felt both the Animation AND artsyle was A big step down from S1
