The Mini Kelly feels more like a trend than the Birkin. If you compare second-hand prices, the Birkin has had a more consistent increase over the years. The Kelly didn’t become popular until 2016. In the long term, I think the Birkin is a better investment *condup* . .

Great choice! Your sales associate sounds like they informed you well about it for your first bag. You can always get a bandeau for the top handle to protect it. Otherwise you can consider using apple guard to protect it

Also with the leather dont touch after putting lotion on it will also stain it! You can treat the leather with apple guard spray. Look up tutorials to guide you on treating the leather. Congrats! 🎉

I always thought the Chanel 22 looked like a trash bag, but I caved and bought a small black one too. Haha. I own mostly *condup* classics (Chanel Classic Flap, Diana, Lady Dior, Fendi Peekaboo, etc.) and prefer smaller bags because I don't carry a lot.

Do you find it too wide/big and bulky? I’ve just bought the *gtdupe* which is basically the same width and my only worry is it bumping into things and wear on the corners, has yours scuffed?

@@KingdonHavis Personally, I don’t think it is too wide/ bulky. It is perfect for me! The EW is 8.5 x 5.3 x 2.4 inches. After putting all my stuff in, the bag kept it shaped and it didn’t bulge out. The bag still felt comfortable even wearing it on the shoulder. I will be posting a pros and cons video of this bag soon. If you’re interested, I can let you know when it is up! ❤️

You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *gtdupe* are not real name brand. That's one reason why I don't go thrifting anymore. Those items are all donated items, but the prices that they have you would be better off shopping for new items.
