Ok! You know I love my PM and have been eyeing the Box. Instead, I’ve gotten the YSL Université in Taupe and the YSL Bellechase in Navy - so comparable sizes and all leather. Definitely much heavier, so that is a bit disappointing, but love the design so I’ll keep them and hope the weight isn’t too bad since I don’t carry that much stuff either. I need a kitchen scale like you!

I wouldn't recommend carrying a small water bottle in either of these bags, as you may risk stretching out the compartments. I also don't think they would close properly with bottles inside. Hope this is helpful!

I love watching your videos because we carry the same SLGs (except I keep my keys in the mini pochette) so I get a really good idea what bags I may want in the future. I don’t think I’ll be getting the Celine. I have the pochette metis in emprente which is good enough for me.

Hi hi! Quick question about the Celine box: do the metal on the strap hurt your shoulders when wearing the bag?? I’ve read so many reviews that talk about that design flaw and want to hear your opinion on this.

Just got the Métis. I love this bag. The SA at LV called it the “unicorn bag” since it has not been in stock for 6 months. I’m not a fan of Celine. Thanks for the comparison though.

Yes! Since it’s all leather and has several compartments and layers, it can be quite heavy when it’s filled. I tend to wear this bag in the fall/winter over plush coats so the bag’s weight is cushioned by my clothes! Hope that helps!

What does bubbling mean?

When the box leather gets wet, it looks like there are bubbles forming underneath. It can get quite damaged based on what I saw from another KZbinr who mentioned getting caught in the rain with her Celine bag.
