Thank you for this series of tutorials. I have completed several Bead Crochet projects, but do not enjoy the pre-stringing of all the beads. I have also learned how to do the Peyote With a Twist-Not Crochet technique, which I have found to be pretty easy, except for converting the patterns, and that the ropes seem to be much larger than Bead Crochet. I will be giving your technique a try, thank you again.

Hi there, Great Video!! Thank you. Please can you tell me if I follow the tubular brick stitch will it have the look of a spiral like the watermelon bracelet? I'm attempting to do a necklace for a friend that can't use her hands for this type of work. So I'm trying to do it for her, but not having much luck. Your HELP, will be Greatly Appreciated.

So when adding the 2 extra beads in the circumference, how do I know what colors to add?

I love your technique for achieving the bead crochet look. Quick question (this may be a dumb one), but what would happen if you were to just do a flat brick stitch pattern as it’s laid out in the chart, and then just fold it into a tube shape and sew up the sides? Would you get the same effect? Or do you have to work it up in a spiral, as you do? Thanks.

I love this! Thank you Shae. I have the magazine. I would love to do something like the "bouquet" crochet pattern in a tubular brick stitch! (a combination of crosshatch and floral). Wonderful!

For the ladder stitch when starting - I’m not sure what beads to start the pattern.

Also the two extra beads, are they random or part of the pattern?

Am in the process of making a bangle but was wondering if you have made a necklace using this stitch? If so how did it turn out and what length did you make? Thanks

Which one of the patterns do you read to make bracelet? Draft or corrected/flat?

What if you are left handed for bead crochet patterns?

I have talked to you before, I love this stitch but have another question or two, I have stared a new bracelet but the circumference is 12 of course starting with 14, I’m using 8/0 beads doesn’t seem to want to bend, would it be better to use smaller beads, it seems to want to flatten with 8/0

Mary Farnsworth I would switch to size 11 Beads, but you still may need to put something in the middle. A lot of bead crochet uses cotton cording in the middle. You can purchase it at Joanns or other fabric stores. You would place it inside as you bead around it. Others use vinyl tubing but I find it too stiff.

Yes puking is to stiff I put it in one bracelet, and I’ve bought cording like ya use when making pillow, etc. and this bracelet is bigger then the cording, go figure !!
