I love this wipe so far. No flea for 2 weeks, found in raid req for hideout upgrades will amke early/mid game longer and more enjoyable. rubberbanding is annoying tho and a few bugs here and there as per usual

Also like the added "found" extracts. Gives you the option to avoid common extracts that can be camped if you find it and can change how you run a route and play the game. This is the kinda shit they need to add on a wipe. Little changes that arent hugely impactful but can change the game in good, small ways. Im getting dicked but I've skipped the last couple wipes so this is a good time for me.

Just the performance in general is kinda ass rn I have a 13th gen i7 4070 and 32gb ram an looking to the middle of customs I get 40-65fps now

Performance has shit the bed this wipe. I was hoping the new unity engine would optimize the game but the exact opposite has happened to me. I am lucky to get 60 frames on customs, and I used to get 100-120 easily pre patch. My system is built for tarkov as well. 5700x3d, 64gb ram, and 3800 gpu.

I think the arena progression is fine because 1. It’s Still not the best way to level and make money, and 2. You still need to get trader rep (that is if you are a standard player like me, which is the whole reason I bought arena) in order to level them.

Ive been running PMC raids when my friend is on, and when im on myself ive been running Scav and then during cooldown practicing my keyboard mechanics on a different more arcade style shooter. they basically fixed none of the previous wipes bugs but introduced DOZENS of game breaking bugs that will remain in the game for weeks. this wipe alone has caused more errors, crashes and disconnects that EVERY PREVIOUS WIPE COMBINED.

Even if you can still lvl up fast on arena, the real progression is trader rep and questing. You can get to lvl 30 with arena but guess what, you’ll be in the same bracket as a lvl 1 with no quest or trader rep. Arena is fine as is. Just my opinion

I do think this wipe is better than last, tho performance being worse is kinda amazing, i didnt think that would be possible. I hope the tools in Unity 2022 makes it better for BSG to fix optimization cuz its pretty bad atm. My CPU and GPU chills at less than 50% load for some reason now, even with me forcing high prio on EFT. Might need to tweak and force it to use more, cuz its kinda wierd that the game runs like shit, but wont demand more from the hardware. (4090 and 13900k)

Couple questions- How does everyone deal with the constant server crashes? I know it’s not for everyone and Is just a common thing at the start of wipes. But my 140$ game isn’t even playable, when I try to load into scav it gets 99% and then server disconnects and with pmc’s my character gets stuck in place mid raid and I just have to abandon the game. Didn’t know if anyone had solutions Also what is the best method for peacekeeper level 2? Any quick way to get the usd spent or should I just keep using him as my main trader I use

Take apart all your scav guns and sell all gun parts and electronics stuff to him , if you need more spent with other traders buy stuff from them and sell to peacekeeper. Then buy USD from him also

I mean Pestily for example had reaaally bad luck with bugs, he is getting slapped by bugs and issues left and right. I personally encounterd 2 crashes, 1 time my audio went poof and matchmaking is insanely long sometimes. Otherwise the game runs better than ever for me which is nice, the only time I have noticeable FPS drops is when long-scoping in some big areas.

Tarkov has never blue screened my computer in the 6 years I've been playing and there are multiple accounts online from others of the game crashing when loading into raid on this patch specifically. If it makes the game unstable for lots of users it's a bad patch imo

I’m running a 4090 with a Ryzen 7 7700 and still experience major frame drops and new problems almost every week. I literally upgraded from a laptop with a 3060 to this new PC just for Tarkov-and I barely notice a difference. That’s a game issue, not a hardware one. Honestly, the other guy’s take comes off as pretty naive (just saying). it's literally consumers "mindstates" and overall perspectives which is what keeps BSG overall protected from not having to do better performance fixes because there's always those few people out of the bunch that try to overshadow facts with personal experiences. BSG have some pretty scummy business practices & having people like that within the fandom is certainly not great for the overall "greater" good of the game lolol

Paid cosmetics DO matter though. They actively hurt any game they are in, especially games that are not free to play. Reason being, it lowers the standard of art for everything that is not paid for directly. Art being sold for a price must always be better than the standard art you get with the game, or else there's no reason to buy it. That, therefore, means all other art in the base game is of a lower standard. An artist will not put the same effort in to something in the base game as they will in something that has a price tag.

lmfao this wipe is definitely shittier than last wipe in terms of the flow of the game and all the new bugs they have to fix. At least with last wipe they didnt add anything other than QoL changes. and maybe some other bs nobody cares about. I love having to restart my game after every raid because the servers cant reconnect to the stash :D Also this new audio update fuckin sucks, mfs be sprinting on the other side of a piece of cover from me outside, and he doesnt make a noise. Had a scav sitting on the other side of the forklift at admin gate on customs and he was talking the whole time, sounded like he was inside the wall and inside one of those smaller buildings near factory far corner. Mf stood up and one pumped me through lvl 4 armor with a slug. SMFH this game has been in development for how long? they gotta step their shit up
