Great job to explain how to get the rear bolts of the starter motor come out awesome job!!! The biggest issue is getting the driver side starter bolt out! Needs a long 14 mm put on first and then the wrench.

that’s honestly a really easy way to replace a starter, it looks intimidating at first but id rather do that than being under a vehicle and can only turn a bolt with a tip of 1 finger. I would replace a plunger and contacts to save money, those are wearable parts only

Can you take the starter motor out when the gearbox is out to replace the clutch.

Yes. you can remove the starter motor even if the gearbox is out.
