@@michaelhurd4242 Anyone had any experience with how long it takes to arrive (Australia)??? I stupidly didn't pay the extra for air-freight and so therefore mine came by ocean. It has been sitting for a week in customs at Sydney according the the provided tracking details. I've tried contacting the local freight company (PCA Express) but they don't reply to emails or answer the phone. I did a google search of the business name and the reviews are a horror show, so I'm starting to worry. Not that it's been over the estimated time of delivery yet, but as it's spent more time in customs than it did on the ocean and the reviews for the freight company have me worried.

PCA is ok, JUST SLOW, all depends on the day of the week, if spoken to there boss and he explained it’s actually not their delay it’s them waiting for the local courier to send a big truck and pick up the containers etc, The issue is FASTway they take weeks to collect

Scott, I did some belt research. On multiple DIY forums it looks like many CLAIM the 12mm belt is the sweet spot between mechanical advantage, strength and drag coefficient. It does make basic sense but it would require an actual experiment to determine what it would take to cause the 12mm belt to fail compared to the 15mm. IMO The biggest problem of utilizing a 12mm belt is the limited selection of pulleys compared to 15mm. For instance. If I was going to purchase the TRX I would probably look for a 44t or 45t to run with 115mm and 120mm wheels. 44t / 15t for me provides the best combination of torque / range / top speed (IMO). I had decided to roll the dice on the TRX until at the end of your video you mentioned that the 12mm belt. Thank goodness I watched until the end or I would have be SOL after ordering it. It does seem strange that a manufacturer would move away from the somewhat standard and easily sourced 15mm. Pushing the limits of design and technology is great. There are a few pieces of the electric skateboard that should be seen as a standard. People like to experiment with different wheels and gearing combinations. Anyway thanks for making the video. After riding the Zealot tonight with the stock 97mm PU wheels I changed my mind again. I have a few parking lots that are very smooth but other than that the roads in my area are neglected. The Carbon fiber deck with no flex might be unbearable. The best option for me except for their horrid support is the Wowgo AT2. The Deck has some flex, I can order it now with both 120mm cloud wheels and 175 pneumatic. Not to mention I will have unlimited gearing and wheel options. Very rarely do I rely on support for the board after purchasing it. Its much easier utilizing DIY parts and taking care of issues on my own. Its much less painful rather than waiting for long periods of time between responses and long shipping times. My BKB Duo should be arriving soon. I plan on doing a detailed assembly video. I am somewhat of a perfectionist when building things but I will do some post editing to make it less tedious.

Awesome thanks for all the info, Yea I was surprised at the 10mm belts. I passed on my concerns and their replay was pretty amazing. They are swapping out for 12mm straight away (as they fit) and the nest batch they make will be 15mm belts. I was quite happy with that response. @@johnd9357 it’s hard to recommend lycaon. I ordered a board from them and they don’t have very good customer support. I emailed them about my board two weeks after purchasing it and they promised an email for when it would ship. After one of my emails, they responded saying “oh yeah” and told me it shipped last Friday. I’m very frustrated and confused and the tracking number they gave me has 0 info on the package and it’s been an entire week since it supposedly “shipped” I’m just praying the package isn’t lose and I hope the board it great. Not sure how the black carve brand is with customer support, but so far it’s been extremely difficult.

Hi mate, my guess will be the 105s I’ll try and film that next week. The 105s will deliver more torque, better on hills and better brakes. Hi Scott, great video as always! I know you have a range test coming up but did you notice voltage sag at any point? I’ve noticed that a big issue with a lot of boards is that after 50% battery or so the board seems to have less power. Awesome!! Yea not loud at all. There’s is obviously some noise but compared to say the X1 pro or even the Vestar V2 Pro it’s a lot quieter. I would happily ride this around out streets at 3am. That’s really what I was hoping to hear I live in a smaller city and people tend to be a bit picky and I’ve never seen a single person in my area ride an E board so I may be the first one riding around. Hello Eric, I have not tried the Zealot yet it’s coming soon. Personally for carving the TRX with the solid Carbon fibre deck is beautiful to carve on, and the top speed is very impressive so far iv got 47kph. Plus it’s a longer deck as well 40” The Zealot is good but I think 💭 the TRX is better

Hi mate, Big question, no simple answer, If your not mechanically minded get the Evolve If you’re okay and doing bolts and unclipping wires etc then get the lycaon. Evolve has service centre, Lycaon will ship the parts to you. The Lycaon has more range and higher top speed, BUT, the Evolve will beat it Over the first 10-15m. Lycaon is a lot cheaper, hope this helps Remember SCOTTD for a discount on the Lycaon

Not sure about range yet I’ll film a full range soon; the cells in TRX are very good and will handle hills well. I did around 22km I this remote showed 50-60% left Obviously the Rs has more options and you can get a huge 19.2ah The TRX has more ground clearance as well

There Service is pretty good, Iv seen a few issues but the bulk is positive, The Board issues you are talking about might their lower model the GR, Iv not seen a single issue on the TRX. you'll love it iv heard alot of really positive feedback

Just past the 150km mark yesterday and it still looks new lol, I upgraded the rear bearings to Zelous as they had a slight rattle and that solved it.

Great review ashame about the 3M (10mm) belts with my experience coming from the X1 Pro Riot to the Flex as a heavier rider as you do say they wear down quicker or you have to adjust belt temsion for optimum performance... Love this board definitely a great choice makes the flex look like a toy 😂😂 Another gripe is they dont allow just 105mm cloudwheels as an option its either 120 or both variants 😢 i already have 120 at my disposal 😅😭😂

Lycaon board actually listens to it's customer's, example the trx wetland can carry pay load & feed up to 200 kilos sacks for farm roads.i seen Blue berries pickers use Lycaon boards to travel between the fruit trees narrow unordinary ground they appear to works swiftly with the Blue cloud wheels & Also plenty of chunky people who shall remain nameless complain so they had to mod their shit to where it can probably haul a 180 kilo trailer
