Oh! Love the date night suggestion. My husband and I do it. We take turns on who plans it’s so the burden of planning something isn’t on one person all the time. Do some things that are out of your comfort zone that you probably never would do. For a suggestion, what we did once was his and her massage. Which I think you guys have done but it’s good to do it again. We went indoor ice skating ⛸ which was hilarious. I found out my husband had never been on a pair of ice skates. We also did horseback riding. Like I said these things we normally would never do or have never done but it was nice to do it together and get a good laugh.

I did the marriage course and the alpha course 10 years ago. Glad to hear it's still around. I got a divorce, but I'd say it's helpful if you actually implement the stuff. Most times at the beginning of the marriage you are pumped up to invest in it but then as time goes by and children etc you take it for granted or one person cares and the other doesn't. It's important to keep the same energy all through and keep investing in the marriage.

I also eat the fries simultaneously with my burger, whilst drinking my soda😅😝 I feel like when the time comes for me, I would definitely do both pre-marital and marital counseling/course 🙌🏽 To communicate properly for me is to really listen to each other, meaning listening without of what you will respond. Acknowledging your person’s feeling and validate it. It’s not about pointing the finger but it’s about working things out. Date nights are non-negotiable for me too. I usually once or twice a month, dating should be a priority 🙃

I'm convinced you and Damini have too many similarities as me and my fiancé LOL. You gotta eat everything simultaneously. I will never understand why anyone would want to miss out of the enjoyment of eating all the flavours together. He's also the hedgehog in the relationship, whilst surprise surprise I'm the charging rhino lol - we reference that often.
