I hate that Hope was so loved and cherished, people layed down their lives to protect her in The Originals, but in legacies she's all alone. I get that the issue is with actors (they have moved on to other things), but Hope is anything but an orphan: She has her family, the New Orleans Coven and The Cresent wolf pack, she should not be facing everything alone.

I think it’s because he stood up to the Mikaelsons and held them accountable for their actions. But idk I’ve always loved Marcel, he’s one of my favorite characters in TVDU. And I love the brother/sister relationship between him and Hope. I really hope we see Marcel in Legacies at some point and not for just a few minutes like we did with Freya.

Marcel was his father’s child! He was raised by the brothers and he was the best of both of them and also had some of their negative traits. He knew his father (Klaus) would never kill him. Klaus had whole monologues about who and what image he created in Marcel. He was also proud of Marcel and by extension admired much about him.

I wish there was more shown about how much Marcel actually cared about Hope. But maybe these little moments were enough. He so needs to appear at least once on Legacies though even if its just once. Some big entrance to help and show that no one messes with Hope then left that would be fine. But it needs to happen at least once.

The issue is with the actors and how th creators wish to handle the show. Most of the actors are doing other things and the creator do not want to make Originals 2.0, they want to focus on the younger generations (a stupid move mind you). But it doesn't work, because in one show they were "we will always be there for you Hope" and in the next one "All alone..."

It’s 5x13, when Elijah is telling Klaus that he’s going to die by his side. Klaus asks Elijah “What about Hope?” And Elijah says “ She’ll have Marcel, and Rebekah, And Freya. I even looked Kol in the eye and I told him if he doesn’t look after her I’ll come back and haunt him.”
