How glorious to have met King Charles and exchange kind words within the walls at HighGrove! What an honor and a highlight of 2024! The coat such a magnificent tribute to the farmer who produced this lovely wool ! The tailoring could not have been better! So enjoy seeing you now creating pieces to fit your body my grandmother always curated the pieces for herself so the fit would be perfect as a child who was enamored with her and the care she took in selecting fabrics piping buttons I can appreciate the details in this coat ! Very excited to see this styled up with your new bag in January though I’m certain you will wear it on 12/26!! I definitely would do the same!!

Your excitement at having met the King under such ‘informal’ circumstances was lovely-I agree that our Royal family are so important in helping our traditional crafts from dying out. Well done in managing to stay in saddle when Romeo reared-no easy feat! Apart from boosting your confidence it shows Romeo he’s not in control and if he misbehaves you’re more than able to deal with him. Can’t wait for next year when you can go riding more frequently on your own horse! 😊

So nice to see Bee’s lace on display! I am part of the group that she has been teaching at Highgrove. She is such a generous, patient and lovely teacher! There were also a few items on the table by some of us students, although of course we have a long, long way to go before we are near Bee’s skill. (If I may be so bold as to give myself a little plug… when you showed the framed lace, there was a little grey book, to the left of the frame, which I made)

For my sins I have 9 ponies… they are my best friends, my therapy… recently diagnosed with Lymphoma, I too run a business and seem to be always busy but my ponies give me sooo much strength and have taught me to slow down a little.
