Thank you, Lydia! I'm happy to see many casual outfit ideas. I live in Canada, and over here (where I live, at least), the majority of people don't care about fashion, but I do. So, I inadvertently end up looking like I'm bordering on"fancy" 😅 (although I feel it's just elevated!) much of the time. So, this helps a lot!

I love linen. I have been wearing my linen button ups as jackets for a few years now and it is so breezy and comfortable for our hot summers here in Phoenix, AZ USA. Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

I live in South Carolina and we have to wear linen or blends from May through October because of our warm humid weather. I'm always looking for work pieces that cross over to casual wear. With our fall we wear our "dark cottons" and sandals for quite a while.

Lydia is beautiful and looks gorgeous in pretty much everything she wears. I find the best way to view her videos is to cover the area above her shoulders (no disrespect intended to Lydia) so that I can just focus on the actual outfit and that helps me to have a different perspective.

2.27 I was always told 'blue and green should never be seen.' Some colour combos just don't work, even when trying to defy convention and 'be different!' Some of these are blue and green, black and navy. These colour combos rarely look good. 6.34 That linen dress looks more like a kaftan type nightgown, might look better with a belt.

I completely disagree - blue and green are one of my favourite colour combinations. Think of nature, which never gets it wrong: blue lagoons against green banks; bluebells against green stems and leaves...

It's all about the tones. For example a dark navy or electric cobalt blue look great with a light sage or pistachio green

Light blue and green are analogous colors ( check out the color wheel), which means they (in the right shades) match each other very well! The world is so full of terribly outdated (and absolutely subjective) ideas😢

I use Wrinkle Release. Just spritz it on your linen and smooth it out with your hands. Dries in a few minutes, ready to go!

I used to steam and iron my linens religiously, obviously the effect was gone each time I put those linens on 😅 Now I just do it once after the washing and just go with it as it is later on. Btw the fabric feels much softer now, as ironing made it very stiff

It helps if you iron it while it's still damp.

I wash linen by hand usually in something like Eucalan that doesn’t need a lot of rinsing and has a great lavender fragrance. I hang to nearly dry and iron damp, or pop into the freezer in a plastic bag until I can get to it.
