Why don’t they add better pay to the app fuck all the other junk

$168 gross for 10hrs is awful; $30/hr times 10 hrs should be $300; how many shitty $4 rides are you taking? How many deadhead miles are you putting on your vehicle?

❤❤❤David does EVERYTHING backwards in San Diego, California! Driver's are fighting back by forming LOCAL CO-OPS! Forming LOCAL TEAMS will ensure that you and your families will get paid! These low ball offers in San, Diego, California under $1.00 per mile WILL NOT get picked up!

Play too many games and you will be left with no time to work. This is 1% helpful in my opinion. You can’t base off past time. So often the app has said 1-2 minutes waiting time then I end up waiting for 45 minutes. Yes know your market and understand your business.

This was my idea they implemented. How ever it's backwards. And you guys nailed the original idea. It Was for drivers to know the expected demand in the area, not what happened a hour ago. Knowing how many drivers are around you is very important. Because if your in a congested area then you know it's best to move.

Agree with the other driver here stop the bs and show the money , and the new feature a another bs , I just check the drivers app and says no drivers in my area then I went to the passenger app and it’s shows like 10 drivers in my area bs

I been driving over 8 years, given over 16,000 rides. Lyft is just horrible and so is uber. They focus on bs features instead of making sure their drivers, esp proven drivers like me are protected and value. Just like them saying drivers who give 10,000 trips gets a reward. It's all broken promises

i could care less about this crap. the amount of money and time these companies waste making these features for drivers would be better used by just PAYING THE FKN DRIVERS MORE!

Where’s the bonus ? I haven’t seen one of those in months. Does past history affect, whether you are eligible for a bonus?

I extensively us the recent ride demand to study my city. The downside is that there is no differentiation between base, comfort and black. I also use the rider app to position myself where there are no other Black cars. This helps to get more rides, especially if I am the only Black Car near a nice hotel or neighborhood.

Stop driving. Uber and Lyft do not care for your safety. Rates are down to well below $1 a mile. You also have to spend 1+ hours a day waiting for passengers for free. They shave tips and bonus fares. Run while you can.

hi chris n sergio congratulation the honeymoon is over۔ the glamour or fantasy cause by the dara khusroshahi about earnings jump and towards profit path is over because uber stock start declining today uber stocks are near their to price which was prior declining value۔ they even not able to cross the $70 limit let see days ahead the stocks trend۔ i work in cypress Tx suburban of Houston Tx what I got on lyft is completly false its says waiting time 3 min so you waiting 25 minutes but no trip۔ they say basis previous hrs activities ۔ what ever bonouces hrs they offer were far away not worth to drive۔ only thing I notice which is a good sign is that if your time of driving with rider pass five minutes from actual dropoff time then they pay you all time till you reach destination۔ its mean sometime you slow down due every signal becomes red or rail track waiting time or sudden close of road۔only this good I notice۔

I think it's awful. Rates have gone down significantly. How does a fancy new distraction within the app help me make the same amount of money I was making 7 years ago? I waste time not on the 'clock' to drive somewhere for free and then that is supposed to make me $30+ an hour? Different topic for Lyft. How is Price Lock for $3 a month going to help Lyft? It will be the excuse to get rid of surge for drivers, not passengers. If you don't pay it you get surged, the driver will get paid like. 100% of passengers pay for that service. How else would it only cost $3 a month? Uber is no better! Probably even worse at this point in 2024.

How are you gonna tell someone what’s good or not good for their market, when you don’t even know what market they’re in? You’re saying $168 isn’t good numbers, but you don’t even know how many hours he drove or what market he’s in. If $168 isn’t good then what would you say is? Not everyone makes $200-$300+ in a single day. Again may be partially market dependent. There are some markets near me that I’ve heard firsthand drivers make that much in a day that I’ve thought about checking out. But if it didn’t take too many hours then $168 is honestly not bad for a day of work. Shit it’s more than I made per day at my old job, even after you account for expenses. I will grant you that $80 in 5 hours is not great, but $168 in a day (again depending on the number of hours) is decent, at least for my market. May be different in markets where drivers regularly make $200-$300 or more a day. But if the guy’s happy with his numbers then let him be happy with his numbers. He knows his financial situation better than you and what his market is like and whether that’s good numbers for him or not. Now if you wanted to give him constructive criticism, you could say “this is how I think you could do BETTER” but you didn’t say anything like that you pretty much just told him he was wrong for being happy with the numbers and pretty much insinuating that his numbers are bad. Which I feel is doing the guy a disservice. I’m not saying to not make him aware of better earning potential or ways to improve, but to sit there and just tell him his numbers are straight up bad I feel is sort of lazy. There’s more nuance to the conversation than that.

$168 is terrible for a 10 hour day anywhere in the US when the driver pays 100% of the expenses to drive. Gas alone we spend $20-$50 a day 5-6 days a week. That's $100-$250 a week just for Gasolina amigo. $400-$1000 a month for Gasolina. $4800-$12000 a year just for Gasolina. No include repairs. Comprende? No maintenance. All on you. Best case you make $52,000 a year. Before expenses. $52,000 -$8000 -30,000 miles at 50 cents $-15,000 Your left with $26,000 to pay for your entire life before taxes. Now you have to pay taxes as an independent contractor on that $26,000 when you file. But you only made $26,000 and have no money left and your car is worn down and you can't pay your taxes.
