Lyla - All Scenes Powers | Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

Harbinger (Lyla) is one of those comic book characters that had HUGE potential to become a massive mainstream star after the highly important role she played in the classic DC comics series "Crisis on Infinite Earths" (she could have been as huge as Wonder Woman, Aquaman, etc. If properly used well after Crisis. That Crisis on Infinite Earths series was read by tons of people and she had an amazing role in it). Unfortunately, DC being DC (there is a reason they are always in 2nd place behind Marvel comics) eventually screwed her over. She did have an important role in the DC comics event known as Millennium. She actually played a really cool role in that event. But afterwards... Oh... Afterwards, they stuck her on this DC comics team book called the New Guardians and it was one of the worse comics of the 1980's. Harbinger (Lyla) was the only good character on that team, the rest of the characters on that team were pretty terrible. It was like sticking Michael Jordan on a team with the worse basketball players ever. Doesn't matter that Michael Jordan is an amazing player when the rest of his team is tripping over their own shoelaces. Can't win a game if the rest of the team is falling on their faces. That was what it was like to have Harbinger on that New Guardians team. It also didn't help that most of the stories in New Guardians were pretty terrible as well. To no one's surprise, DC's New Guardians comic series was cancelled after only 12 issues. Finally, Rather than try to save Harbinger and put her in another book, DC comics threw her into "unused comic book character limbo" with the rest of the New Guardians for many years. Such a shame since they had a great character and they flushed her away. They brought her back in a few minor cameos here and there, but nothing major, and they finally killed her off permanently (the current Harbinger in the comics is some lame A.I hologram head that looks like her, but it's not really her. The real Harbinger has been dead in the comics for over 20 years). Sadly, this animated scene recreates some of the final moments of her life. Harbinger (Lyla) deserved so much better from DC.

Lyla's character story single-handedly raised the bar to the stratosphere for me in this movie. I cried when Superman said that Lyla died trying to protect Kara. You knew at that moment Darkseid was in for a world of hurt just by Superman's look.

You know dudes & dudettes it is just sad for one of Supergirl friends to be a short live ally who manage to hold her own against Darkside but she sure didn't last long against Darkside knowing this dude is the overwhelming force that can't be taken down not that easy but Superman can hold his own against him so I feel sorry for this dudette but she did had an awesome set of powers such as: [Ergokinesis + Flight + Future Sight + Duplication] but somehow she knew what was going to happen to her but if she try but it was the future sight that one dudette was going to die but she should have guess it was her fate of what was going to happen to her so she was a proud Super Dudette and knew the risks but she was awesome to the end don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆
