1:21 I totally love this shot. Foreshadowing who is more free and who is more trapped after what they did. Erik is trapped in his own thoughts of blaming himself (because that’s what have been like living his whole life), and Lyle is more likely the free one because now he could finally be free without his abusive parents and save his little brother from the SA from his dad.

I know this is Netflix’s go to genre at the moment, but this probably is doing a lot to discredit the latest push to free the Menendez brothers from prison after nearly 35 years of incarceration. But it’s not like the creators care about any of the actual people involved.

What do you mean? If anything, the show gave the case more attention and following. I, for one, am not too familiar with the case and the show made me empathize with the brothers. It can’t be one-sided. They had to retell the story from all different facets. Also, it’s a dramatized series. Not everything is factual.

How they got in their messed up heads that their parents were going to kill them is beyond me, I do not believe there was any physical or sexual abuse, just lying & acting to get out of the horrific crime they committed & it was for the money, they paid people to lie for them, they could have had amazing life’s & threw it all away, they have been in prison most of their lives & will probably never get out & they shouldn’t, the parents were the victims here, they didn’t know their sons were psychopaths
