When the original series came out I was working nights, so I never saw her. I didn't have a VCR at that time. Lately I recorded and have seen 2 episodes as the series is being shown on ME TV. Sure, there are some corny moments, but just looking at that beautiful face and those eyes wow! Add to that an amazon body to die for, so who cares if there is an intelligent plot to the show. She really is a wonder!

Love Lynda. She really did help create the modern style of who WW is. I got lucky. Born in 69 I got to grow up on tv with shows like Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Spiderman, Isis, and Shazam.

I have to agree with her about Wonder Woman vs Charlie's Angels. While I do feel that Lynda Carter could have done well with a part on Charlie's Angels, her character wouldn't have been nearly as memorable or as iconic as WW. Her WW character has remained enduringly iconic and set the tone for later comic film adaptations. But, the Charlie's Angels characters were not iconic in the same way... fun to watch sure, but not enduringly iconic.

The Bionic Woman came first. The Bionic Woman series was already in are production by October 1975. The WW pilot was not a pilot until abc network decided to air two additional episodes as 'Special presentations' that are empted BionicWoman. ABC picked up WW for 10 additional episodes when Lindsay Wagner had sustained injuries during an accident. WhenBionic Woman came back to the abc schedule for fall 1977 WW had already been canceled by abc and shifted to Cbs network and was updated to Modern day late 70's.
