Hi Lynden, what this and other of your videos have show me is the importance of making simple notes sound good with good phrasing. I think you underplay your natural ability in doing this but that's a different story :-). As well as an emphasis on phrasing within a bar using different length notes, I would love to see a video on your thought process around phasing across 4 bars or longer. Also maybe one on call and response. Above all however I like the way you treat your viewers as students so just take us through your usual steps that you take through a student wishing to learn to improvise.

@@lyndenblades He's popping his sound up into an octave (?) overtone, I guess. His control over it is fantastic, and it's a great effect. I haven't come close to duplicating it. Have you tried for it?
