Lynette, girl, thank you. As a girl in her mid 20s as well I FELT this in my soul. I have been going through it the past 2 months and its always the voices in the back of my head reminding me to be positive about the experiences but the sadness and negativity has been overpowering that and feels like my mental had hit rock bottom, especially this time of year. But then it's videos like this that remind me I am not alone, I am not behind, I am not my feelings. I'm finally feeling like I can take charge of my life again and start with the little things like affirmations, reading, staying off of social media (that's a big one for me), and just giving myself grace through my journey and accepting where I am. Again, thank you so much. I will always love your content. Its nothing but real 💚🧚🫂

lynettttteeeee girll. every time you post it always aligns with the phase I'm going thru myself, and you will never understand how much I just love checking in with you. As an only child, I always wanted a sister so bad. Not to put any pressure on you but the energy you give me is on that level of sisterhood, so I really appreciate you for having the courage to live your life, sharing it with us as you go, and live a happy one because you really do heal parts of all of us as you do it 🖤

When you said sometimes you have to smoke, I had a sigh of relief. Because I get this wave of guilt when I give in to vices, but... Damn Can I Live?! 1 yes out of 50 no's is still a win.

Yeah I’ve honestly released so much same around smoking since moving to NY. Everywhere you go you can see/smell ppl doing it & I feel like with the world we live in it helps so many people. Having a good relationship with it is key I think

Fellow cannabis lover here💚I’ve shifted my relationship with smoking a lot over the years and one of the things that’s helped me a lot is catering my high for what I’m doing/what time of day I’m smoking. Maybe try finding strains with compounds in it meant for sleeping, you could be smoking herb that is keeping you awake. I appreciate your videos sm Lynette, thank you for sharing your journey with us!

I saved this video a few days ago because I had a feeling it was something I needed to hear. It popped up again and it was the universe telling me to listen!! I wholeheartedly resonated with this. Down the to the defeated and depressed thoughts and negative self talk. Continuing to show up for myself even when I feel like it’s hopeless or “too hard” is the only way to get out of it. Thank you for this💗

i swear it feels like the negativity ruts happen in waves. like i can be having a really good week and then certain things happen and it causes me to feel the same way that i've been trying to escape from. but you're right bc i just gotta keep going anyway. there are worse fates i guess.

Thanks, Lynette. This has been the most tumultuous year of my life so far. I've been doing my best to choose gratitude over letting circumstances get to me, but it's not always easy. I'm getting better at bouncing back faster and I know my shift is very close. This video just grounded me further.

And for me it was like i had to really trust that life and the situations that are happening to me are really teaching me something and helping me grow and evolve to find something more aligned with me and my future goals and vision. I trust that your gonna find whatever your looking for and you should trust yourself as well because everything is working out for you! I promise its gonna be okay. 😊

Hi Lynette! I've been a watcher of your channel for a while and your maturity and growth is evident! I'm 35 - and lead a very different life (now married, expecting my first child, full time at a start up, moved to the burbs of NC - after being born and raised in NYC and living there for 31 years) - all is to say - what you are sharing resonates with people from all ages and in different stages of life! Despite all the crap that is happening - we have a choice on how to react and show up for ourselves, our homes, and our communities each day - it truly takes a mindset shift and being TIRED of feeling crappy all the time - I had to come to that realization a few years back when I found myself spiraling - and I'm so glad I acknowledged I no longer wanted to be in this foggy cloudy space and be miserable to those around me and worse to myself. Adjust your thoughts, your actions, and remain faithful that all these adjustments will translate into tangible changes in your life - little by little and equip you with more resilience to endure and keep going - onwards and upwards folks! You got this!

Tapping into God is also a key thing as well to help with dealing with those anxious thoughts & feelings. How we choose to deal with life is on us. If we can shift our perospetie on how to look at like saying "even if this is going on, I am going to trust in GOD's plan for me and continue to keep going. I am going to intentionally havre a good day. It's how we can choose to look at things from that perspective.
