Glad you are letting O help in the kitchen. When my grandson was 3, I let him put jelly on his toast. His mom asked him why he liked to stay at my house. He told her, "because she lets me cook". I loved it.

And this is why I have watched your channel from the start and continue to try to watch every video! I’m a mom of 4 I have been a homemaker the last 15 years since my oldest was 3! Remembering to find joy in it can be a challenge, but you are a constant reminder and positive spirit that always points to The Lord!❤

I worked outside the home since I was 15. I hated homemaking because I was so exhausted by the time I got home and never had any help. However, in the past 25+ years, my health has kept me home. Strokes and fractures left me bedridden for about 4 years. I fought my way back and now I love keeping house. I never knew I could fall in love with washing dishes! I just love the feeling of accomplishment, not to mention the great feeling of a clean home.

Homemaking and mothering was always my calling. Kids are grown now, but I still love keeping my house organized and clutter free. Love watching you with Oaklynn helping. I always let my kids help in the kitchen and now they cook (the boys too) in their own homes. I think it helps them not only to learn but to be creative and to appreciate time with Mom! Love that you share it all with us! God bless.

I absolutely love your video. Your dreams remind me of my own when I was a child and teenager. Now 30 years later with two amazing adult children, I look back and see how all my dreams actually came true. My husband and I are greatful for God's abundant blessings and look forward to our next season of life. I love the beauty of homemaking that you share with other young moms. You have a calming way of making daily chores enjoyable. I love hearing background sounds of your children chattering and giggling and having fun. Blessings!

I agree with Patricia. It was good to hear you say that in this season your cleaning has changed. I'm 62 now and it has been hard to accept that with my arthritis that cleaning gets done one room a day rather than all at once. It looks fine, but it seems so different to do it that way nowadays. I remind myself that growing older is a privilege that not everyone gets to experience, and to be grateful for this stage 💜

Call me crazy but I enjoy doing the laundry. It's so satisfying when everything is clean and put away again. I'm a grandma now but I remember when our kids were young. Life is busy. I felt so blessed that I was able to be a homemaker and mother. Even though some of the daily chores were so routine, I did find joy in my calling. I knew that I could be a big part in raising them to love the Lord and also share in the important things in their lives.

So wonderful to see a new generation of homemakers teaching the children and keep house as God intended for woman to do. I am now 80, but it worked for me, my mother, her mother, her mother, and generations back. I still have pictures of my great great grandmother baking and sweeping. It works. God knows what He is doing. Thank you for a peaceful interlude in my day. Now, I am going to bake an apple pie from scratch for my grandson.

Love that Oaklynn enjoys cooking with her momma. Brings back memories of my own childhood, especially with you wearing an apron. All mommas wore an apron in the kitchen. My dad and the uncles would wear a huge white butcher apron when carving the meat. Good times.

My favourite chore to do is washing!! I love to see it fluttering and dancing on the clothes line and then I enjoy folding my washing and then to see the items in their drawers or hanging in the closets! Whilst folding Lynette, that is my time to be alone with my thoughts and then job done, satisfaction guaranteed!! Your bread looked fantastic at the end. Best wishes.

Years ago we did not have child care. My husband worked days, and I worked nights. I am a nurse. Gotta do, what you gotta do. I enjoy watching your family grow and all the work on yours house. Seeing you carrying Harper made me realize that phase of your life is almost over!!! Enjoy it! Love to see all the cooking. That bread came out so perfectly! Your house looked terrific! Kind of laughed when you worried about the bathroom drawer needing some organizing and thinking there was clutter... compared to the average bear, things looked fantastic! Thanks for the advice on stackable washer/dryers. Wonder if they can be on a board on wheels to pull out easily. Love to hear the attitude of gratitude.

I don't have a favorite house cleaning chore I just like when it is all clean/tidy in total and comfortable. It really relaxes me when things are in their place and I feel like it would be company ready at any time. Not spotless, as we live here but just comfortable. Not sure if that makes sense but it relieves my stress a ton. Love your attitude about stages of life. It is so true and priorities shift for sure. Remember some day those babies will be gone and off on their own and you can clean house all day and it will stay that way ............and the silence will bring memories of wonderful things out of order and days of wishing you were needed more, as you are now. Enjoy the fact you have dirty dishes and then sigh when they are clean.........life goes too fast and I miss the laughter and banter of doing dishes with the girls or asking son to take out the trash. LOL Empty nesters probably look at things differently. God bless you and the family and keep on being the wonderful wife and mother that you are. Dirt can always be swept mand dust can always be done "tomorrow" or "tomorrow'........ it's just dust! 🙂 Loving your little family and have literally watched them grow........beautiful children and a devoted couple with so much love to give........you are blessed!

Bread turned out beautiful. Made me hungry. Oaklyn is getting so big and her beautiful curly hair is so long now. Favorite housework job - writing a check to my housekeeper. I can tell you my least favorite is laundry. I HATE everything about it from sorting to folding and everything in between. I take one day - about once a week or so and just do it all in one awful day. I bought a new housekeeping tool I love - it's a Shark vac & mop. It is for hard floors - you can vaccuum up crumbs etc but if you come upon something that needs wiped up you just spritz it and go over it and it wipes it up. They sell a cleaner to use in it , but I just use vinegar water. I highly recommend this product.

Yum! The bread looks great ! I enjoy folding laundry as it relaxes me. We moved our washer and dryer closer to my kids bedrooms as it use to be on a different floor. That has been a nice change ! Your video was inspiring to me. I stay home with my 4 kids and the clutter annoys me as well, but if I can have a few spaces clear ( as it rarely ever is all clutter free), that is my go to when I am needing a break! Now I think I will go make a warm drink (chilly here today in NY) . Thanks for sharing❤ great content!

Lynette, your recipes and housekeeping look fabulous. Having Oaklynn in helping you is good for her to learn, also the boys can learn too. You have good promotional items that are very useful on your channel. It is so true that we need to find joy in what we do. When you do the same tasks on a daily basis, it is important we appreciate what we can do. When I was younger, I could go through the house inside and out in a day. Now that I am older with health issues, I am more grateful for what I can do. I am not the kind of person to ask for help, so if the task is not of urgent nature, I will let it stay until I feel better. I completely understand where you come from. My mom and dad had eight children. 7 boys and one girl. Honestly, I don't know how they did it. I know there were many sleepless nights, though. However, the one constant thing was a strong faith and prayer. That is still true for me and always will be. I pray for continued blessings on you and your families. ❤

I love your videos. I love that Harper was serenading you at the end of it. I wish that you'd do a step-by-step video on breadmaking. In all of my years, I've always been intimated by it. My attempts resulted in brick type unbaked breads. My husband does the kneading and bread making. I think it's so therapeutic though I would like to do a nice beer cheddar bread or rosemary sourdough.

I found your channel this morning and just love it! You asked us to post what is our favorite household duty. At the top of the list for me is hanging laundry on the line to dry. It is very much like therapy for me between smelling the clean laundry smell, being in nature and seeing the mountains and hearing the birds and cattle from our neighbors ranch. Even down to how I hang the clothes. In the midst of a busy life in ministry work and the every day of taking care of my husband and home and farm animals, I find that I very much need this task to allow me to bring my focus in and not be so busy and scattered in my thoughts

Thank you for the inspiring video! I have 5 children and feel the same as you when it comes to clutter and mess! I do like tidying up and making the house pretty...just wish I could find more time for it. 😊 Thanks again! ❤

Love you home, it’s so nice and clean! Your little girls are both so adorable and I think it’s so important that Oakland is helping you in the kitchen, that’s the only way they can learn I love to watch your videos, especially when you are cooking, cause that my favorite thing to do but I don’t always like cleaning up the mess but my hubby helps me with that a lot of times, 😊 May God bless you and your beautiful family

Thank you for sharing. Look forward to your videos every week. The bread looked delicious. And, what is it about watching other people make coffee - it's so satisfying ☺️ What a blessing to have your mom and dad so close ❤️

Oakland looks more like you all the time. She will always remember helping in the kitchen. Warm memories. And that bread makes my mouth water. I could never get sour starter to work for me. My mom did. We had sourdough pancakes every morning. One of those warm memories. ☺

Thanks for the little mom talk, brought tears to my eyes. What color are your walls? Also favorite chore..... Can't think of one. If baking is included that's what it would be. Your bread looked amazing!
