She said, "Honey, I see people in my job that would give anything to be able to live to 50 but won't make it because they have cancer." I'm no longer sad to be getting older. Happy Birthday! I'm 71 and I can't believe I reached that age. I have seen more and more people using home delivery. I've yet to try it but one of these days I plan to try it. for the money you spent you got a lot of groceries. We don't have a Krogers here in NY State. Your pretty organized in your refer & pantry. I don't have the room in my refer for a lot of storage bins. And I unfortunately don't have a pantry cabinet in my home. But I do use some of the storage ideas in my RV Pantry.

Being 35 was the best time of my life, even though I was in the thick of it raising my 5 children. I'm now 66 and my children are all grown and living their own lives. I look back on those years with very fond memories.

Look how many of us are watching who are in our 70's! We've been there and done that, as the saying goes, having raised our families and now we get to enjoy the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And I agree that it is a blessing to see a young wife and mother enjoy being home for the family.

Always love your videos. Thank you for saying “my fridge is never the same”, many influencers make their fridge look like a store display but we all know the real life fridges are not picture perfect! I have zones in both my fridges (we have a secondary one in our pantry) but we fit leftovers and other random things we purchase or use where it fit! 😂 I will say our secondary is more for back stock items like butter, cheeses, milks, “luxury” drinks like soda, premier protein drinks, bottled tea’s and coffee’s (the luxury drinks are not necessary things we always buy but every once in a while as treats and once they are gone we do not put them on our regular grocery list), our homemade dog food and any meat that needs defrosting. Our kitchen fridge is smaller than our pantry one due to the size of our kitchen. As we have been slowly renovating our 86 year old cottage, we have kept the same footprint of the rooms but have reimagined some areas and one was a totally poor functional laundry room in to our pantry which not only holds our secondary fridge and shelf stable foods but all our paper and hygiene and cleaning items including the vacuum cleaner, mops and steam cleaners. We relocated the laundry (we splurged and got a GE All-In-One as we are empty nesters) to our only bathroom which had wasted space in it. When one has limited storage closets, one must reimagine how to create functional use and storage in each room!

Happy Belated Birthday, Lynette. I loved my thirties. My mom passed when I was 35. I miss her so much. She was a holy woman. She gave us all unconditional love. She passed at 63 years old, which is my age now. I really enjoy your channel. It is uplifting to see a nice Christian family. My background is Catholic, but I grew up in a multi cultural and multi faith community. At 63, I am still learning. I just retired my nursing license as my health is poor, and I am on disability until age 65. I feel some grief over that, as I love to care for others. Lynette, I have been following you for some time now. I live in Ohio and until my mom and I started having health issues, her favorite thing to do was go to Holmes County and stay for a few days. We went several times a year. It was her greatest joy, especially Walnut Creek Cheese and just being around the Amish. Sadly, she has passed, but those were some of my fondest memories. It’s so refreshing to watch a channel whose family loves God and lives a Godly life. It’s so rare these days. I love when you go back because I know all the places you go to. Boy, there are so many of us in our 70's watching today. I'd love to have half the energy you have. Unfortunately I became wheelchair bound in 2012 and as of Dec 2nd I became bed bound. I'm waiting to get the physical therapy I need to get back in the wheelchair. I love how you've organized things. You have a real talent. My house yells HELP it's such a mess. Wish I could find someone to help me but we have trust issues because some of thelp before stole from us and one was a friend. Happy Belated Birthday!! I love the buying of new hot pads and towels. For years, I felt almost guilty buying new kitchen towels until I bought a set of 10 in sage green. I think my kitchen smiled at me. LOL. I love the fact that even though a do get a pattern one for Easter, 4th of July, etc., they all blend together, not a hodgepodge like before.. I'm on my 3rd way to store spices (they increase so fast). I found a wire hanging shelf, probably for a bathroom, and hung it on the inside of my pantry door, a perfect fit and I even have space for more... Win. Love to see your pantry each time you show it.
