@@FateHasWritersBlock Sorry I miswrote. It is actually SWEDISH racing green, which is Polestar's traditional racing color, a tongue in cheek reference to british racing green. Except, of course, it is actually this mostly blue cyan color.

Cyan! That is what I thought at first sight: this is the blue (and yellow) from the Swedish flag that Polestar used to use. Thanks for linking this Link&Co to its origins from Volvo and Polestar.

You're right! The reason it's confusing is that the first Zeekr model, the 001, was based on a Lynk & Co concept car, and Zeekr has yet to be able to produce a car that doesn't look a whole heck of a lot like a Zeekr (with the possible exception of the 009 MPV, which looks like nothing else on the road). Apart from mild styling differences, their market position is also different. Lynk & Co focuses on "sporty" ICE and PHEV models, while Zeekr is a bit more upmarket and EV-only.

Lynk & Co markets itself as a "sporty" brand for young people, so this kind of vehicle is a marketing tool, not something they expect to make a ton of money. Every Lynk & Co. model now comes with a PHEV variant, and the Geely group also has Geometry (for affordable EVs) and Zeekr (for premium EVs). Simply put, they've got EVs covered, and as someone who still really enjoys driving ICE performance vehicles, I'm absolutely delighted that they spent the time and money to make this vehicle.
