Yes, for a blended family to function, it’s very important that the new partners do not try to assume the parent role. Just take up the role of a respected friend and the kids will eventually accord you a position. Children in blended families are very sceptical at first because the have been through loss( separation of parents) before, so you really have to be understanding of their sentiments. Ps- i am really happy for them.

One thing i know is Ghanaian are very up right people. I work with them a couple of years. Please kenyans when you talking about west African scammers be specific to country. West Africa is big about 17 Countries and most are french speaking. Yes Ghana and Nigeria is in west africa but they only two countries out of 17. It is very diverse different people, cultures, faiths, dressing, food. Etc.. especially the sahel region,senegambia,Guinea,Burkina,chad etc....Most of kenyan never interact or seen other North west African

It is such a beautiful story, but remember those kids, thats all they knew. It's dad's food or nothing else. The fear was to share dad. In the introduction process it's not easy to involve kids in our affairs. There is fear ofcourse. I had the same story with me, I had a daughter and my husband didn't, so I had to make sure that this guy was good with my daughter before I introduced her. I love how you guys played the game.
