Hellen, two wrongs don't make a right. You got into a marriage as a second wife. Your hubby followed customary laws and paid dowry. You're officially his wife. By leaving him you've destroyed his life even more and that of his children. In my opinion, you should have just repented, renewed your commitment to God and then continued in the marriage - - in the permissive will of God.

No, they use that to fool women. Any time a man comes to you and starts badmouthing the woman he is married to? RUUUUUUN. That is a broken man, or a poorly raised man. Especially if he has kids with the woman. People fall out of love, heck some get conned into marriage, but they must take responsibility. Any man or woman who cannot self analyze and know their role in the failed rship is not worth a try. He will do the same to you. Take this advice, and you will get a good man.

The one who destroyed mine has never found it in her heart to ask for forgiveness. I was left with four young kids while my hubby inherited a daughter from her and got 2 more kids. I forgave them and after many years my husband asked for forgiveness but we could never be together again for I refused to be in a polygamous relationship. The good thing he educated our children. Unfortunately he died and this woman was happy inheriting what rightly belong to my family. Anyway I leave everything to God and than hubby for leaving something also to my children. Where did all these things begin? The lady was born and brought up in a polygamous family. As a young girl she clearly lacked a proper mentor to point her to the right direction. Sometimes there are things we struggle with and don't even understand the source. It doesn't necessarily have to be sexual sin. The day her eyes opened and she admitted that she was living in sin, she repented. Now that's the difference between God and human beings. People would love to rub it in ndo aifeel but kwa God, the race is not for the swift. She can secure the destiny of her children even now.... My people perish for lack of knowledge. You shall know the truth and it shall set you free. If for sure every child has a purpose here on earth from the day they are born, then It would be so unfair for Her kids as innocent as they are to live to suffer.

True, family altars. Such a lovely lady but the altars of polygamy were following her. Thank God she's found Jesus at the well. Her children will not have to be troubled again. It ends with Hellen.

I think that's why she wanted to break the cycle so that her kids won't inherit the polygamous spirit
