I giggle snorted SO loud at the voice behind the camera muttering 'Oh, don't eat it.' after Ghost got the tuft from the dart in his mouth.

Thank you, Maxine. That was so interesting. I often get to hear about zoo happenings behind the scenes, but it was very special to actually get to watch. The Canadian Lynx are so beautiful. I hope Ghost is happy in his new home. He's had a wonderful home at Northumberland Zoo.....will someone go with him for the journey?

Your videos are amazing. Seeing the behind-the-scenes routines and other things are quite interesting. Talking about the truth behind the animal husbandry is truly eye-opening. I, personally, leaving hearing plans about animal management and videos about new animals. Keep up the great work.

Crikey, a lot happening. Having had dental problems myself, I expect Ghost is feeling happier in himself. Lovely animal. Loved the clip of the Comoros. Is there anything like that at the bat enclosure for visitors to see? Thanks for the video Maxine. I wouldn't want to mess with your mother 😮

What a beautiful animal! I live in Canada and have actually seen one in the wild. I loved the explanation of the ZIMS program - it's great that an animal's records goes with them wherever they go. A wonderful way to document the conservation of such precious animals.

I enjoyed this video. I didn’t even feel squeamish with the close-up of the tooth removal. Question: what kinds of “ soft food”, if any, will the guy be eating after his dental surgery?? Nice hamburger/ground beef, maybe? Lynx chow? (Moistened)

Another excellent Maxine. It is good to see these things that go on behind the scenes. So pleased that Ghost is in a fine state ready for his new home, even if it is a little way off yet. I particularly liked that the vet. explained about the teeth after their removal. It will be a shame not to see Ghost in the future but you are helping another zoo to possibly raise some more Canadian Lynx and increase the numbers in Europe. It was a little bit sneaky of the inspectors to call early but I am sure they would have been impressed with the set up you have there. You are a credit to zoos. Keep these interesting vlogs going please.

Neat to see a lynx half way across the world. I'll see them in the wild maby once or twice a year, in central and northern alberta canada. They're always so oddly eerie to see because of how disproportionate they are compared to other cats.

This is a super cool look at things behind the scenes! I recently started working at a zoo (Guest Experience) but I'm hoping to become a Zoo Registrar at some point, so the brief look at ZIMS was really cool!

Another great video. Can I ask how/why Ghost was chosen over the other 2 boys please. Would be interesting to know how that part of the process works.

Is that pirate Jeff? Do all of your animals go on ZIMS, even domestics or just the 'zoo animals'?
