He was the last original member, But the saddest part of it all in this video there is only one member still with us.. Drummer Artimus Pyle.. You know you KNOW a song when you can anticipate every transition in the guitar solo easily and know exactly which it is going to happen seamlessly. When;s the last time you've heard a guitar solo that's almost the same length as two normal songs (five minutes). Also that I could hear this song another 500 times and not only not get tired of it but get hyped just like the first time. Imagine being there. I was about five years too young for my dad to bring me and it's one of the few that I'm really bummed I didn't get to see live.

I was there! They were called Day on the Green concerts with many bands playing that day. I was seated up very high in the nose bleed seats and it was just my second concert but one that I’ll never forget. And to think that the horrible plane crash would happen just a few months later makes it even more special.

Ronnie said “Play it pretty for Anaheim” when I saw them at Angel Stadium the same year where they were the headliners and the show started as the sun went down. I believe at this concert there were so many girls, because Peter Frampton was the headliner. It was an amazing night.
