Never be ashamed of an emotional reaction, that's what these songs are supposed to do, and remember, "don't live too fast", they're grown before you know it!

Ashley: That's why EVERY ONE sheds a tear to THIS ONE!! My son is 22, and he was "sat down" and made to listen to this: and, now it's one of HIS favorite songs, too!! GREAT LYRICS that TOUCH YOUR HEART!!! ENJOY - and, never feel badly about the way "a song hits you" - that's what it's FOR!!! People MAKE music to MEAN SOMETHING to the people they're trying to REACH! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!

Ronnie had a unique way of writing lyrics that resonate with everyone. Lynyrd Skynyrd worked their butts off to perfect their sound. There will never be another quite like them. Great reaction, guys! ❤❤❤🙏😊

As reactors, we love the crying. If it’s raw emotion and true, never be ashamed of it. Real reactions is what we’re looking for! In fact, I think we are gonna recommend more songs to make you cry!

They are called REACTION videos. Music affects different people in different ways. It could be a riff or chorus or a verse that triggers emotions Nothing to be embarrassed about. It’s a good song. Great reaction

Great reaction! The group Shinedown covered this song really well. I think at that time, guitar player Nick Perri was in the group. Ashley may know of his sister Christina Perri who has a few really big hits.

You are not the only one who cries to great music, we all do! You are finding out about the incredible emotion musicians of that era could conjure up, they were freaking Rock Gods to us and they blew our minds on a frequent basis. Imagine hearing and seeing, living this, in real time! Grandpas music was the best music.

When a song touches the important part of your life it gives you the feels. That’s how you know it’s touching you. This is not a sad song but it reaches your hopes and aspirations for your children, that’s a beautiful thing. Don’t let anyone make you feel uncomfortable for tearing up, they haven’t lived your life, they don’t know the part of you the emotion is coming from. Yes, LS is a great band, glad I grew up with this music. Looking forward to watching your musical journey. Reaction channels like yours are a blessing for some of us out here, it brings joy, thank you!

Don’t know who did a cover, but this will be the one…only Skynyrd. My hands down favorite song by these guys. The lyrics just hit home. (Ashly, you have a beautiful heart & soul full of warmth & empathy…a gift from God.

If a song makes you cry, or just puts you in your feels, it is a compliment to the writer and performers. Some music is meaningful because it's like poetry or a story put to music.

I felt the need to write this little piece. There are some songs of any genre, that I cannot watch or listen to, because it brings me to think of a son I held as he passed on, some 20 years ago now. BUT still emotions does bring crazy things with such songs. because they stir such emotion and thoughts within us. Never be ashamed becaus eyou get emotional because of any issue.. That is how songs strike within you, which is special and means a lot. My son was profoundly special needs and still I look at those who were his age about and wonder what he would have .... you know those strange questions etc.. as a poet i release on my poetry, but music has a way of striking an emotion in us, for some far different to others, but still it is an important one. Love your reactions, best wished from Ireland. Peace and love to all.

If I’m not mistaken they wrote this song in about an hour after a phone call with one of their grandmothers. Also another note about the band, they didn’t believe in writing down the lyrics or notes, if you’re gonna play it you better know it by heart basically.

When you paused it n let known your feelings, I subscribed. You both are awesome.
