Pronounced is arguably one the greatest debut albums in rock history, IMO. Ronnie Van Zant called it "his masterpiece." Just look at the number of hits the album spun that remained Skynyrd staples through the rest of their careers, both pre and post-plane crash. The likes of I Ain't The One, Gimme Three Steps, Things Going On, Simple Man, Tuesday's Gone, and of course the all-time iconic show closer Free Bird. What an incredible album, and this is just one of many incredible songs from the album.

Great southern rock band from the 60's-80's. It is very sad what happened to this band in losing so many members. My favorite songs are "Simple Man", "Free Bird" & "Sweet Home Alabama". They had lots of great songs such as "Call Me The Breeze", "Tuesday's Gone", "That Smell", "The Ballad Of Curtis Loew", "What's Your Name", "Gimme Three Steps", "Saturday Night Special" etc.

Such a great album from a criminally underrated band. I think one of the greatest debut albums in history, and one of my Top 10 overall. And to think these guys were barely 20 at the time - orchestral backing?!?!? Much of this was recorded at Muscle Shoals with the Swampers. I got chills walking in there and seeing the photos of all the bands and songs that were recorded there. And this song soars. The closing 30 seconds are just gorgeous.

Yeah !!!!! Thanks Guys !!!! I Played this Album on my cassette Player on a Construction Site In Odessa Tx. Back In the late 70s when I was coming From Ca. for work and There were a bunch of Guys used to come up to me Blown away by these Guys wanting to know who they were. I was shocked till I saw they only had one station K-RIG that did not play them, Then I played the Doors... All they knew was Light My Fire... I showed them, Censorship Sucks !!!

I love this song! It was in the movie Dazed And Confused (nothing to do with Zeppelin oddly). It is set in 1976...I was 16 in 1976 and this song reminds me of that movie. Best time of my life!!

Love your album reaction and you do look a bit worn out but all really worth it I'm sure! Tuesday's Gone is one of my most favourite Lynyrd Skynyrd songs which I downloaded a few years ago. It's superb with such a wonderful melody and vibe. There's others I really like too, such as Simple Man, Free Bird, Sweet Home Alabama (which you've reacted to) and Travellin' Man (Live). All these songs are so memorable, which once you've heard them, they stick in your mind. So many other fabulous songs too of course. Sorry, but, I have to let you know about "Rossington Collins Band" this is a band that consist of the remaining members of "Lynyrd Skynyrd" and they have a great song called "Don't Misunderstand Me", they played a concert here and after they performed "Free Bird" they Performed "Don't Misunderstand Me", freakin' great, it's worth a listen, really!

This song is played in the movie, “Dazed and Confused”. The movie is about the last day of Junior High and High School, 1976 in Austin, Texas (I graduated 6th grade Elementary). It features some very young actors who are now very established including Mathew McConoghy and Ben Afflack (check my spelling). I have the movie in DVD and love the sensation the music gives me because it transports me back to the early-mid 1970’s. I probably prefer Tuesday's Gone to Freebird at this point for the simple fact I've heard Freebird so damn much. I have a real hard time listening to Freebird , Sweet Home Alabama , Gimme Three Steps , and What's Your Name because they've been so overplayed. I much prefer the Skynyrd deep cuts now.
