I bought a red 7 digit kit for my Flash Gordon. Great kit to assemble. Having worked on several circuit boards, I used some SIP sockets for the chips. I don't like having to desolder the chips to remove them, and I don't mind the small added expense to make life easier in the future.

Very nice. I am going to build my own virtual pinball table over winter, and these videos help no end, with the history of pinball. The table reminds me of the first time I went to Blackpool here in the Uk when I was a kid. Waaaay back in 1975. I was in single figures then...and the pleasure beach had a ghost train, one of the oldest original ones in the world and arcades full of games and pinball like this. The artwork of a sort of stylized cartoon Dracula, creepy but not too scary. Its classy and elegant and a work of art. Keep putting out the videos, we love them and you have an audience for them all over the world....

Looking pretty good now..lights, camera and mostly action. There’s a nice long shot on this game -from the flipper to the very top of the playfield. It looks like it’s gonna play real good and fast.

Lots of bad connectors were inside. Nice job on the new digital display boards Ronnie. Still got to go over every blackened solder joint first. Got some more light issues but you know your boards and solenoids. May just be the Curse of Dracula! More to come.

You had a Stern Galaxy in your shop that all the displays were different colors. Looked cool so I just finished building and installing the same displays in my Galaxy. Building five displays takes a little time but are well worth it.

Does anyone know how to prevent "Tube Flashover" in pinball Gas Plasma/Gas Discharge displays? The Tube Flashover is prematurely damaging the pinball Gas Plasma Gas Discharge displays. I'm not sure what is causing the Tube Flashover, do you know Ron or Joe? Maybe its those SCR that is causing Tube Flashover problems in the light lamp bulbs that is why they switch using FETS/transistors to prevent Tube Flashover problems in the light lamp bulbs

If this is the same thing a s "tube flash", I think Paul Carlson made a circuit that soft starts the tube filaments to prevent this.
