Another Ted Zale brought back to life. You guys brought my Ted Zale 4 million BC with zipper flippers back to life a couple years ago Nice work as always. I learned something new again, take a look at the tilt bob.

I can say for certain, that these are definitely interesting machines. As much as I can appreciate the arcade cabinets and the newer pinball machines with all their features, there is just something enjoyable about a good ol EM machine where everything clicks and clacks and just works with simple cleaning and adjustments (and not cooking the electronics)

They really are fun to work on!

It was floating around for awhile and then they got in touch with us to come and take it off their hands pretty inexpensively

I just fixed up one of these that spent 20 years in a barn. What a project. Found a good home but the backglass was rough. Fun game and the reference to esso is funny.

The shorting of the relay coil is to get a fast response, if it was supplied through a normally closed contact instead the magnetic memory of the relay would not respond in time and the relay would stay closed.

I wish every manufacturer to this day kept that trim/playfield glass mechanism.

Have you ever done a video on the different strengths of a coil pertaining to its color. Like if you have a pinball game where the targets are far away from the flippers or if you have a ramp where you need to have a lot of power to get the ball all the way up the ramp. Also the best size coil for a bumper. Or if you have a game where the targets are very close to the flippers, you might need a weaker coil.

I saw that game for sale and thought it would be a great game. It was just too far away from me. Looking forward to you working through it.

I remember back 51 years ago my Williams 3D had the tilt hanging down thru the ring, maybe it was wrong as well.
