At Superbooth 2018 we met Vlad Kreimer from SOMA Laboratory.
Vlad is the maker of LYRA, the Russian boutique experimental synth that is making waves for its unique sound and design.
We asked Vlad to tell us more about the concept behind this instrument, his 'romantic engineering' and what's next for SOMA.

I received my Lyra-8 two days ago and am already discovering the connection between it and my inner state.. Many thanks to you for this contribution to our lives, Vlad. Interestingly, for many years I read and taught Russian literature and culture and can recognize the cultural connotation of the Lyra.

it is a beast, everybody needs a #lyra8 they just don't know it yet - it certainly takes us to a new place if we allow ourselves, it is a slow machine, meditative and thoroughly enjoyable
