Absolutely love this Amber. I did this exact thing for Thanksgiving last year and gave to my daughter. It was her first Thanksgiving with her new family and relatives. It makes a wonderful craft fair item!!

Thanks for this idea! I did find that Walmart had the books for .79 and they were so much better quality than DT. I also tore some of the pages out and only made about 20 per album. My first craft fair is 2 weeks. Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

I saw an older video of you doing this, loved the idea so much I went to the dollar store and got 4. I made a recipe book filled with their favorite recipes, one for each of my sons, as stocking fillers. Two of the albums I got were great, and two were so flimsy I had to replace them. I just love your ideas, in fact I think their stockings are going to be filled with lots of your ideas.

I have a community sale coming up in November. I think I'll try these recipe albums. They are really cute and who doesn't collect recipes...well, I'm sure there are some who don't...lol...but this is so cute. Thank you for sharing. Hugs from Arizona...;)

I love this idea and I've made several over the past week based your your previous videos. One thing I've found is that some of the Dollar Tree albums have a sticky tag on them that I have not been able to remove! I covered them with a tag but will be on the look out for ones with clean covers! Love how they are turning out! Thanks for your inspiration!

I love all of your ideas!! You are very creative!! I bought several to make these from dollar tree but think i have the cheaper easier to rip ones. I'm disappointed but still will try the craft. Mine also have the label on the back cover. Was wondering if yours did too, and if so, how did you remove them?

Judy Brace I had this same issue, I could not figure any way to get that stinkin label off. I ended up making a little pocket to cover it and just slipped some tags in it. An extra little gift: )

I bought those albums from the dollar store and they literally ripped as I was filling them. They’re not the same as last year just wanting if you had the same problem

Glue Paper Scissors hello! Oh my goodness, I just discovered that myself! I went back to buy more after I filmed and edited my video and they were a different type of album...so much cheaper and thinner. They were not good at all! I am going to pin this comment to the top so everybody will know to keep an eye out on what type of album they are purchasing. I bought the ones I used at DT a couple months ago and they are such good quality. The dollar tree really needs to get that brand back and get rid of these lousy ones that they have in the store now.
