the first one might have been a v2 Supercharger, not v3. you need a v3 (or greater) for CCS-1 charging.

@@petehelme7714 that was my thought too but we have subsequently charged successfully at that supercharger location.

@@RickWeaver5544 cool. I had a rental Ford Mach-E that would only not "fault" at the third pillar I tried at one Supercharger location. Who knows. :)

@ we found that using the Tesla app to find charging stations is the best way to get to a location that will charge a non Tesla vehicle.

If you have a Tesla paired with that phone, it might take you to locations not opened to all.

@@junehanzawa5165 maybe…John went to “charge your other EV” on the Tesla app to find a location and that location came up.
