Persona 1 started its life as a spin off title to the Shin Megami Tensei series using a lot of common elements like the dungeon crawling but introducing new ones such as persona and a high school setting. Even though this was mildly successful it wasn't until Persona 3 that the series took off with the hyper stylized graphics, fun characters, social links and music. So does that make the first game bad? Is it still worth playing? Well check out this review where I find out if Persona is worth it!
