Is Tarzan Untamed (Freeride) Worth It? - Video Game Review -

This was a huge game of my childhood! I recently acquired a new copy for my GameCube, and while it’s still a bit of a challenge, I definitely remember it being so much harder as a kid. Thanks for the review!

I bet it also felt a lot shorter as well! I was surprised with the length of this game, and aside from some frustrating parts it wasn't really that bad

I literally JUST learned this game exists. 3:34 The river surf gameplay is shockingly similar to how I envision my own video game idea. Surfing down a giant waterslide track at high speed. Only my idea involves jet powered surfboards.

I think it would do well with a remaster and to fix some of the problems I had with it. Maybe add a few more levels or something and redo the surfing physics.

No idea! KZbin doesn't like me, I don't have a niche (which is a BIG NO NO hahaha) I also did a Lion King month as well! I was going to do a second month dedicated to it now (July) but I just had a baby so plans and videos are on hold for a bit. Next up I think I'll do Hercules, it was supposed to be after Aladdin but I haven't done it yet lol

I've played only the PS1 Tarzan's game, is this better ?

It is in my opinion. The graphics, the sound design, level design, the cutscenes, the voice acting and boss fights are all better than the PS1/N64 versions the only flaws i see with this game is the music it's not as good as the original, the platforming can be rough and its fairly short like 2 to 2.30 hours if you only care about the story mode.

That's very interesting, I am only familiar with the PS1 game and you can see that they took what they got right about that game and tried to scale it up to a 3rd person action game.. I probably prefer the PS1 game because it's pretty timeless

Thanks! I'm glad I could shed light on this game for you. For the most part I'd say that the PS1 game is probably better but this game isn't bad, just could be better. If you did find it interesting, I'd say give it a try and see if you like it!

Hahahaha no I don’t think so. Disney doesn’t own Tarzan anymore so they won’t remake or rerelease this game. It would be amazing if they did though!
