The lockout rule is frustrating because at this point they've been so strict for so long that being more lenient (more REASONABLE) would call every past decision into question, and they've locked themselves into this mode of "Since we didn't accept that past lift, we can't accept this one". But they keep getting stricter and stricter. Ironically, trying to be "fair" is only making the competitions less fair IMO. People are getting robbed and they'll continue getting robbed because they (judges) can't admit they're making mistakes and won't change their interpretation of the rule.

Turkey is 85 million and Armenia is 3 million and Armenia walked away as the top team by far in Europe, that’s an L for him and his nation since for him it wasn’t even just about him, but rather the nation he represents.

hi, i'm kinda new to watching these competitions : could you explain why there seems to be no specific order for the attempts ? like if you are the first to lift, you should be the first for each attempt, right ?

it's in order from lightest to heaviest attempts. it makes bar loading easier so you dont have to constantly deload and there's strategy in where you try to place yourself in the turn order with your weight attempt, coaches can also change the weight to move up or down in turn order while they're in the backroom

Well then if there are two athletes with the same weight and one athlete misses does it go to the next athlete or do they follow themselves. It moves on to the next right before going back to whoever missed it?

The number of the attempt (lowest number first) 3. The sequence / order of the previous attempt(s) (the athlete who lifted earliest is first) 4. The start number of the athlete (lowest first)." this is the best answer i can give you haha it's definitely happened before i've definitely seen it happen before i just dont remember. im assuming it gets settled by 2
