Imagine being in Risotto's situation, he was the leader of a pretty big group but at the end he was the last one alive. All of his comrades were brutally killed yet he still went to Sardinia to finish the job. I can't imagine what he was feeling during the fight with Doppio, especially after realising he was the boss and getting shot by someone from Bucciarati's team, the same guy who followed orders from the boss while killing the rest of Esquadra even though they technically had the same goal. He was truly without any allies left at that point
