This style of music suites her. I know she said in an interview a while back that she's lost sense of how the music industry was going because of all the trap R and B. There's no real R n B anymore. Everyone is just interested in trap mumbling soul, and that wasn't her style. I'm a big fan of hers and so glad she's starting to finding her style. This is spiritual and beautiful.

She is an Independent artist. Which is a great thing she has freedom. The only downside is in order for her music to hit radio it cost 100,000 per song in the range. Support her by streaming her music she gets 100 percent. Not like those signed to record labels and can't create their own magic

@prancer1000 Hi there, yes it's expensive. This is the reason why a lot of people go through labels, so the label can pay for the distribution. The only thing is they give you the scraps and get rich off of you. Mya has released more albums since she has been Independent. Having your song on the radio is great but with the way the world is changing it's not necessary. People don't for exposure but be creative to get it out there. Artist get paid more from touring and live shows.

I also want to point out how Mya's vocal abilities have only strengthened with age. My sis SUNG this song with all of her heart, and it isn't as if she hasn't been giving consistently strong vocal performances for the last couple of years IE Damage, Knock You Out, If Tomorrow Never Comes, Ready for Whatever, Patience, etc .
