The reason why your big volume control knob doesn't "work" for you is because you haven't plugged anything into your main outs and are just using the front jack for headphones, which are controlled independently by its headphones' knob at the top right. I'm sure the knob is working on your interface, it's just that there are no monitors to control the volume of plugged into your interface...

HI! Mine actually did not light up when I plugged everything into my MacBook Air and My Mac is not detecting the M-Audio AIR as a sound or anything it's not showing up ! Did you use ILOK for anything ?

To get the big knob to work You have to connect the cables to the back of the M AUDIO AIR L & R straight to the back of the speakers L & R, I do it before thts how it works, but I don't know the name of the cables, my cables stop working And I'm try to get back one but don't know the name

Should be quarter inch to xlr. check with your speakers though

I do not think you need drivers with MacOS

I bought the M air 192/4 I downloaded the drivers okay and the device is showing up on my laptop and is powered on it is also showing on my desktop as a small window but I don't know what to do next don't understand the set up it came with software programmes I know how to set up my guitar amplifier but that's about all !! Yes make sure you download the drivers. And then go into your sound settings on Mac/PC and select it as input/output

Hi, thanks for the video! I wonder if it is possible to control the volume level with apple keyboard. Many external audio interfaces has volume controls greyed out on MacOS. I wonder if that is the case for m-audio as well? Googled a bit but can't find something about it, would really appreciate if you could answer!

im having distortion with any audio thats *not* my microphone... everything sounds airy, harsh, and far away. when i swap to my pc audio everything sounds clean. i dont even know what to search to fix the issue anymore

I would make sure your cables are not damaged. You might need new cables

The InMusic software centre they say we're supposed to use to install everything including drivers for windows does NOT show drivers. The first step in setting this up according to the included documentation says install the windows drivers but this is impossible to do. What a waste of money!

I'm not sure what you mean. Isn't irig used to send inputs into your iPhone? I use a 1/4"male to 3.5mmFemale adapter with an aux cord to connect my iPhone and stream music. Yes you can use live FX I do it often

Crystal clear pre is good as per reviewed by @Julian Krause. bought it and found out the driver's suck and not updated since last year. Digital Performer 11 user please dont buy this.. it's not working with DP11 and M-Audio dont even care about it.
