The detail of some of bisons moves not being so confident or almost unexperienced is amazing to me and really sets in the fact that this isnt the M.Bison thats haunted streetfighter for years, his opening line in the trailer being "do i look like the man they call Bison?, i will take that name for myself" really sets in that, though he might physically resemble bison in looks and strength, there is something VERY different, especially with what i assume to be... soul power? Or a secondary power thats conflicting with bisons psycho power which is present during his victory screens, either he loses control of his psycho power and supresses it with the blue power, or he switches from blue to purple to threaten you

I think they confirmed it’s not soul power, but I agree with you even though his voice lines are chaotic and talks down to the opponent he still feels like he’s gonna just be a neutral amnesia type

He had an overhead in OMEGA mode in SF4 and if i remember right it was from his kick special move that he could link into it, link normals with it and even reflects projectiles with it, wich was insane.

It looks like you get more combo potential from the bomb if it explodes from time rather than being triggered by a special move. So the advanced combo theory is going to be about knowing when to end your combo *without* an auto detonate move so you get a better followup

Yep. Or detonate them while in the air. Other videos kinda show case the juggle potential off the mine exploding while they are airborne. Have fun with the character bro. I already have a bunch of ideas labbed up in my big ass head to test out. They should have never gave me my main M. Bison back, especially not a version akin to his USF4/OMEGA mode version. And that damage potential is sexy too. Hope they dont nerf him before or after launch.

Bison was my first main in SFIV vanilla (before eventually switching to Rose in Super onward). I was not happy with how he was designed in 5 so this version looks very interesting to me, much more like 4 than 5. Going to take a lot to get me to drop AKI, but I'm going to learn him at least, unlike the other DLC characters so far.

I'm not really bothered by earlier game Bison having an "unrealistic" animation for the scissor kicks. He already uses psycho power to levitate with his psycho crusher, it's a very "unrealistic" animation. There's no reason to think that he wouldn't be using it to assist with the scissor kicks. The new scissor kick animation might also be because he isn't as confident with his powers after his resurrection. So he's doing it "realistically" and not "properly" like Bison.

Did you see the set and last round b/t Punk and that Japanese AKI a few days ago? Anyway, will you be switching or sticking with AKI? I’ve tried her and one of my issues is doing the optimal raw DR. I get it 80% of the time. I’m on stick and sometimes I mess up the inputs. 😢 i.e., can’t really play AKI for optimal combos.

All they need to do to fix aki heavy whip is to give it a whiplash effect and boom problem solved - There's no way a whip will not have a lashing effect when its thrown out, it must have some sort of wiggle physics.

He’s not perfect, but this M. Bison is about to wreak havoc. Your old top tiers will remain top tiers; but this Bison will be a top tier killer. Blanka may be an issue tho…. He’s always a problem…

Why did you give up tournaments? You weren't on TNS, Dreamhack, etc. Only you can win on AKI. Without you, it’s as if she’s not at tournaments. Good luck.

1) I didn't give up on tournaments, I'll be playing in the european CPT. 2) There are plenty of competitive AKI players out there, Hikaru literally got 4th at Dreamhack last weekend.
