It's very specifically about a soldier struggling with PTSD after being deployed overseas, killing innocents, watching the people he trained with die, and going home to drink himself to death because the people back there hate him and he hates himself. He just wanted to protect his family and friends and everyone he cares about, but he was ordered to murder people for oil, and his mind went missing in action. The bridge represents a military funeral. It's sad and beautiful, and the song's message is very important. The presentation is obviously incredible. Thank you for doing this reaction! 🖤

@@yami1758 Bom jovem eu sei bem mais ou menos mas eles entraram na intensificação da letra mostrando como ela é explicita e um grito de socorro dos soldados na guerra, te aconselho a ler a tradução da M.I.A para entender o contexto mas tem partes como "Eu matei uma mãe na frente do seu filho" e eles falam de o como a guerra deixa os soldados frios e cheios de trauma pois é uma situação muito pesada e eles fazem tudo pelo seu País (o que é algo muito sem sentido governadores engordando as custas do povo e mandando soldados a guerra a preço de nada).

3:22 about what you said, this song is if I'm not mistaken going through the thoughts or emotions of a soldier in a war, about him trying to justify what he's been told to do so that if he dies he feels like he isn't dying for nothing, or if he lives he isn't living guilty of something, idk if that's exactly what this is all about but it is what I interpreted this as, since if you're in the Army and in a war, you already signed a contract giving the government your life to control, so you would probably have many conflicting emotions and so you would wanna justify what you're doing at least in your own head.
