The video is basically a depiction of a militia/terrorist camp in Sri Lanka.. I'm sure most people don't get it. And mostly they have females soldiers in such camps. MIA was always unique and creative from the start. Respect for this subtle video!

The first time I saw this was in either 2005/2006 on the show Video Music Box here on NYC public TV/public access. It drew me right in. I ran out and bought "Arular" the next day, and it did not disappoint. I was so happy to discover a great new female artist, and I've been a fan ever since. MIA is a compelling artist who takes expression through art to the next level.
