"I don't like the smell, but I like the taste." That's what a lot of people say about durian once they try it. The odour is pungent, but the consistency is like sorbet or ice cream and doesn't really smell once it's on your tongue.

The way Ari's first said "Shaomai" was correct based on Cantonese dialect. Jay's way of saying it was based on Putonghua (Mandarin) pronunciation. Shaomai is a Cantonese dim sum cuisine.
