Thanks. The lever style backspring release is definitely one of my favorite mechanisms. It can be pretty finicky to get all bits fitting properly, but is really satisfying when it comes together. I look forward to seeing what yours looks like, if you end up posting it.

Are you asking if they are USA legal? Knife laws very by state here, and there is an old federal law from the 1950's which makes interstate production/sales illegal.

@@gertrudesrevenge Thank you. That's the info I needed. That is a smart looking knife, that appears to be just the right size. I would like it if it was just a lock back. I believe that automatic knives were made legal by the Federal Firearm Act of 1934. Oh well another one passing by. Again thank you.

The injuries are old burns from when I was grinding the blade bevels. The metal heats up extremely quickly on a belt grinder, and doing repetitive actions I just got layers of burns that caused the skin to peel.
