This song is so beautiful and sensual...the stunning way his voice blends with the guitar...perfection. 🤟

This is a very emotional song about writer’s block. Their muse - Marlena - is experienced differently by each of them. When she leaves them, they all struggle with it. Thank you for another nice reaction!
@Joelyne373 жыл бұрын
This is one of my favorite music videos by them just because of the imagery as well as the storytelling and the metaphor portrayed throughout it. Any of their songs that mention someone named "Marlena" is actually about their muse and inspiration. So the song and the video looks like it's about a woman but it's actually about each of their individual relationships to "Marlena" or their "muse" (music) and how once "she" leaves each one individually, they come together in the end to search for her. It's such a beautifully written song essentially about writers block and the agony that a creative person faces when their inspiration leaves them. It's just beautiful how they never show her face, kind of helping with the idea that she's not actually a real woman, and how each individual member has their own intimate and different relationship to "her". It's so poetic.

Yeah I like when songs have a deeper meaning and especially when it's a little cryptic. You should be able to feel the song without having to be told what to feel

It's apparently a song about writer's block and how the band is one by one visited by the muse (aka Marlena), and then mourn her leaving them.

During the last few years in Italy talents mainly linked to other musical genres have been born. This is a fact, but that doesn't mean nothing else was born. In fact, Måneskin can be considered - in the best sense of the term - an anomaly compared to the musical panorama of recent years. They seem to be shaped by the seventies, they are charismatic, eclectic and their latest works have literally climbed the charts.

I recommend that you react to the live version of this song from Radio Italia live, it has the English subtitles and the performance is very touching .. Just search for LE PAROLE LONTANE / distant words and you will find it

Good reaction. This is a very beautiful and sensual video. The first time I heard the song, I loved the emotion and the flow without understanding a word. Understanding the lyrics( Marlena is distant from me) adds to it . Again shows their talent and range even as teenagers! I’m a hard rock fan, but a sucker for a great ballad. You guys do seem to appreciate their talent also.

Yes, they have turned into one of my favorite bands I've found in a long time. I love their diversity in sounds and language. I'm really happy I started listening to them
@peterheck27283 жыл бұрын
Another nice reaction! If you want to check a video with the English subtitles, you generally have to find a live version with them. Many times they sound as good or better live than in the studio version, which is the mark of a really good band.
@BestFriendsReact3 жыл бұрын
I don't usually stress trying to find lyrics. If they are on the video I'll turn them on, but most the time I like not knowing. Then the song just means whatever it makes me feel
@peterheck27283 жыл бұрын
@@BestFriendsReact Ok, I know subtitles on a first listen is too much for some people, but for their songs I would recommend checking the lyrics sooner or later for yourselves because some of their songs are pure poetry, and I think it helps knowing what the song is about.

@@BestFriendsReact Yeah generally is like that however you have to consider that each language has a different range of expression and I think there's value in understanding lyrics as well, is like go through different layers and most times it impact your emoitions too. I understand for you it's weird, english is your mother tongue and it's not a custom to try to understand different sounds and in my opinion that's a pity. I discovered rock music at a very young age and I didn't speak a word of english and even if sometimes is nice to just go with the beat it is also much nicer to understand what it's talking about. My opinion of course! :D
@BestFriendsReact3 жыл бұрын
I can respect that outlook, I understand that some songs will have more impact and added layers to the song when the story being told can be understood. I just don't stress it the first time listening especially if not on the video. I usually end up looking at lyric videos or checking out a translation

I am Italian and I am very happy with the success of the Maneskin in the world. If they hadn't won Eurovision, now no one would know them and that's sad. The Italian language is an obstacle for the world record market but there are also other very interesting artists. Sorry for my English.

This is probably the worst song of Maneskin to listen to without translated lyrics...cause the vibe isn’t so catchy like others songs,but the lyrics are so intimate...I repeat..useless to react to these kind of Maneskin’ songs whiteout subtitles...this is a poetry..but I still appreciate u selected again Maneskin..thanks

I loved this song even without lyrics, so I don't think it's pointless. And you don't know how epic or heartfelt a song is until after you watch it. And this song didn't have subtitles just like most their videos. So if we followed your advice we would just have to stop reacting to maneskin.

@@BestFriendsReact it was a suggestion only..but it’s like listening to a bob dylan’ song..good to listen to..better to understand..up to you bro..there are many live performances with subtitles yet..This always happens also to us Italians listening English songs..many Italians don’t understand but it’s cool too..and when someone decides to deepen more lyrics..sometimes finds amazing meanings too and sometimes nothing..this adds more value to a song or less value..thanks
